The Wedding

i forgot i existed for a min-

"Ay, Justin. Can't believe he made us meet at my mom's..though, it is quick." Luz said as she adjusted her suit. As Luz walked down the stairs from getting out of the bathroom, she ran into Camille.

"Aye Luz, te ves muy impresionante!" Camille said as she sat in the dining room table with a cup of coffee. "Gracias Mama. I just hope my 'plus one' comes sooner rather than later." Luz approached one of the chairs and tap her fingers. Suddenly, a knock was heard and the door swung open a bit.

The two ladies turned. Camille stood up and Luz groaned, "You're not my plus oneee.." A man chuckled, "No, I am afraid not. Sorry to disappoint." Camille walked up to the man and giggled, "Ohh, never." Luz chuckled, "Sorry Luis, I'm just waiting for Justin thats all... Y como siempre, he is running late."

"Aye that boy, I thought he wouldn't be since he's going to meet your friend again." Luis chuckled. Luz playfully rolled her eyes as the two adults sat down, "Sadly, he tries combing his hair to look perfect. De todos modos, how are you, Luis?" The man smiled, "I'm fine, how are you? You look magnífica in that suit. Como esta tu novia? Very lovely lady."

"I'm good. Ah, Amity is a bit stressed and so I try helping her get out more often when I see her to relax a bit and enjoy fresh air." Luz smiled as she patted the top of the chair. "Ah, qué bueno." Luis smiled.

Luis and Camille had started dating around three years ago and Luz absolutely ADORES him. Don't get her wrong, it's not just because he is very accepting of Luz and treats her like a daughter of his own..It's because he makes Camille happy, happier than she's ever been..And Luz loves seeing her mother truly happy.

Suddenly, the door swung open. "A-AM I TOO LATE?!" Justin said in a panic pose and his tie all lop sided. "Woah, slow your roll there Romeo! It hasn't started yet, but I like to be on time." Luz approached him as she fixed his tie. Justin let out a breath, "Lo siento, Luz..I tried to comb my hair as fast as I could."

"Oh don't worry, You still look fantástico." Luis butted in, making Camille giggle. Justin smiled at the man, "Luis, my man! You think so?"
"Si! Que guapo." Camille smiled. "Awe, thanks guys.. I knew I liked you two." Justin posed as Luz finished his tie.

"Yeah yeah, you look very macho. Can we go now?" Luz asked. Justin nodded, "Bye you two! Have fun while we're gone.." He, then, dramatically added, "But not..too much fun."

Luz rolled her eyes at the man. "We'll see you two later." She smiled at the couple. Camille and Luis waved. "Oh! And tell Eda I said hello, such a lovely woman." Camille smiled.

"I will! Byeeee!" Luz said as she grabbed Justin's arm and hauled him out.

Amity stood inside the gigantic ballroom of the Palace where she set up the wedding with Gus, hoping for Luz and Justin to come before the recital starts.
