Monday approached too fast for both of them. Once they had gotten out of bed, Marinette already groaned and ran towards the bathroom. Adrien, being used to that by now, just followed her with his eyes but halfway open and crouched down beside her.

"Are you okay?", he asked, after she was done vomiting.

"Do I look okay?", she hissed at him, then she winced and gave him an apologetic look. "Sorry, Chaton. I'm just in a bad mood today, it's not your fault though."

"Can I get you some breakfast, while you get ready?", he carefully suggested.

The young woman nodded.

"Take Plagg with you, please. He always seems to know, what I can keep down!"

Adrien frowned but did as she demanded. He knew too good, that it wasn't a good idea to upset her that early in the morning, when he had to spent the whole day with her in public.

Plagg grinned at him widely as he flew past him and already waited downstairs.

As they returned with a plate full of camembert and gorgonzola sandwiches, as well as a big cup of herbal tea, she was already in a better mood.

"Thank you, Adrien", she said, as she kissed him on the lips. "And you too, Plagg. Where is Tikki, by the way?"

"My sugarcube is still asleep. She lost a bet and had to stay awake until the morning after that, so I already put her into your purse, if that's okay, Marinette." The black Kwami explained.

"Of course it's okay, Plagg. Thank you for taking care of her!"

"I would ask him, what kind of bet that was, and if he won without cheating!", Adrien mocked his Kwami.

The little black cat scoffed and turned his back towards his owner.

"I will stay with Marinette for the rest of the day!", he blurted out, and soared into her purse, to snuggle into Tikki.

The teenagers giggled at his behaviour.  Then Adrien took a look at the clock and gasped. Marinette asked him curiously: "What's up my husband?"

He giggled. "Well, my wife, we need to hurry, or we're gonna be late on our first day back to school."

They finished their breakfast very fast, and stormed towards the exit. Luckily, the driver was already waiting for them.

When they arrived in class at the very last minute, everybody was still talking and laughing, barely anyone had already taken their seats.

"What's going on?", Marinette questioned Alya, who squealed at her sight and hugged her first before she told them both:

"We're waiting for Miss Bustier, it's her last day at school, before she goes on maternity leave."

"Oh no", Adrien exclaimed. "Weren't we all supposed to get her a present?"

"Don't worry dude! We collected money from everyone, and as you and Marinette weren't here, we payed for the both of you, so everything good, bro!"

"Thank you, Nino", Marinette hugged him and kissed his cheek, which made him instantly blush. She gazed at Alya with a smirk and said: "Told you, I could still make him blush."

The girls started to giggle. Even Adrien grinned at the sight of his best friend.

As they went to their seats, he whispered into Marinette's ear: "He was so checking you out, when he saw you in your dress, but he swore to me he wasn't!"

The girl giggled. "Please don't let Alya hear that, I don't want her to get hurt."

"And what about me? Don't you think I could get hurt as well?" He pretended to be offended.
