The week between Christmas and the beginning of the new year passed by quickly. Marinette and Gabriel had almost finished their work on the young woman's designs for the show. What she still didn't know was, that Audrey had changed the whole concept, so the girl's designs would be the centre of attention all the other things that would be shown in her show would be pointing at.

After Gabriel had send her Marinette's sketches she had ordered her employees to work out a complete line depending on those. Sadly that meant, she couldn't stay in London with Emily, who was reading her way through all the family history books she could find in the large library, her ancestors had built up over the centuries.

But she couldn't be kept from taking an early flight on Fridays to spent the weekend with her new love in the old residence of the Graham de Vanily family.

Chloe and Felix had been staying with Emily for the first week of January, until school started again and the Mayor's daughter had to return to Paris.

Marinette had  quite some trouble, following the lessons, because now, that the end of January was here and she was in the twenty first week of her pregnancy, meaning more than halfway done, she was constantly waiting to feel her babies move or kick. She was also a little scared, because she would be on a plane to New York in a couple of days, after Gabriel and Audrey had insisted, that she would be sitting in first row to see 'her' designs on the catwalk.

Nathalie could feel her little girl for more than a week now, and that worried the teenager a little. The young female doctor, who still came once a week, had told her, that it was different for every woman, and that there was no need to worry. She also let her listen to her babies heartbeat each time, to calm her down.

Her mum and Emily, who had been visiting them for a couple of days had told her, to not do what all the internet pages and books said, which was to wait for something that felt like the wings of a butterfly, inside her belly, but rather for a twitching, just like the tic of a muscle.

It was around the twenty ninth of January. They were sitting in class, listening to Miss Mendeleiev, when the young woman suddenly grabbed her husbands hand and squeezed it tightly in her excitement.

"I can feel them kicking!", she whispered and placed his hand on the place where she had felt the slight touch of one of her babies.

"I don't think I can already feel that too!", he replied sadly but still let her lay his hand onto the spot. Then to his surprise, he could feel the barely noticeable twitch too.

"Was that...did they just...?"

Marinette nodded vigorously.

"I so want to kiss you right now", she squealed but a little too loud, because the teacher turned her attention towards them.

"'Mr. and Mrs. Agreste'", she spat. "Is there something you would like to share with the whole class?"

Both looked to the floor and shook their heads.

"Good, then you maybe can focus on the experiment right now?"

The teenagers nodded silently. Miss Mendeleiev turned back to the blackboard and at the same moment Marinette turned her head and whispered to Alya: "We just felt them kicking!"

But not only Alya, but as well Nino and Chloe had heard her. Now they were all letting out their excitement. The teacher whirled around again, but instantly all students were quiet. So she focused on the things she was writing, when the class started to spread the news.

At the end of the lesson, everyone knew about it, yet Max was the only one who had also followed the physics experiment, the purple haired woman had written onto the board. But none of them cared, this was too exciting.
