After Chloe had fallen asleep, Felix got up again, to unpack their things and say hello to his family, as far as they were already there.

Emily and Audrey wouldn't arrive here before the next evening and Marinette and Adrien were out in the city, doing some last minute shopping with the twins and some of their classmates. They had started to take turns, week by week, at going to school and being homeschooled, so they could both keep up with their social life.

But now, that they had their last Christmas vacation, they were all meeting at the park near the Dupain-Cheng bakery, to then go to some large mall all together.

He almost bumped into Claire, who was still rocking Gabe in her arms, while Jaques had gone to the nursery to change Juliette's very smelly diaper.

"Hey, I just came here, to see how you're doing. Everything alright?", she asked him.

Felix nodded.

"Chloe fell asleep and I wanted to say hi to the rest of the family, who are home right now. Congratulations by the way!"

He looked down at the newborn in her arms.

The young mother smiled and thanked him, then asked:

"Would you like to hold him?"

Felix hesitated.

"I don't know, I'm a little scared. Remember, when I was holding Juliette?"

Claire giggled and nodded.

"Well, you should get used to it rather soon, Felix. Come, we'll go to our room and there you can sit down. Would that be better?"

He agreed with a beaming smile:

"Much!"

"Well, come then!"

He followed her through the hallway and into their new living room, looking around curiously.

"You made yourself a home!", he stated, "looking good!"

"Thanks!", Jaques said behind them, making the young man jump.

"Damn, you startled me!", he exclaimed.

"Sorry, how's your wife doing?", the young doctor asked.

"Fast asleep, a moment after you left!", Felix said amused.

The young parents giggled.

"Yeah", uttered the red haired woman, "I remember the incredible sleepiness very well! Just sit down on the sofa, dude. And here is little Gabriel Jaques Bienncore!"

The teenager sat there stiffly, barely daring to breathe, as he held the small baby in his arms.

Jaques chuckled, as he saw him like that and said kindly:

"Come on, lad, let's switch. I take lil' Gabe and you take Juliette. But be careful, she's almost eleven month old now. She'll try to let herself fall from your lap, cause she loves it, when we do that and catch her!"

"Oh, okay. I think I can handle her. I dealt with the twins as well, so....!"

The two couldn't help but laugh at his reaction.

"I feel kinda bad right now. I mean, Chloe would love to cuddle with both of them too and well, me being here without her, almost feels like betrayal", he mumbled and really looked guilty, as he did.

"She can be with them until you leave, which won't be very soon, because I want her to stay in that bed except for the meals and bathroom issues. Just for a couple of days. And she can of course be with us all tomorrow, she just should take it slow, but we'll see to that after the examination. For now, we let her get a bit of sleep, before we wake her up again, so just enjoy your time", Jaques encouraged him.
