Rhett's Pov:
It was just like any other day. We were recording and filming a new episode for GMM (Good Mythical Morning) and the entire day was going super well and organised; as it should be. We were doing a challenge on whether some old foods that we bought online should be remanufactured once again. The filming crew, however, had time off for Christmas vacation and we decided to film some episodes ourselves.
Sure, we bought some gross foods and some looked like straight up dirt and some were weirdly amazing. One package, however, didn't sit right with me. It looked off, smelled sort of-
"It straight up smelt like an old pack of beans," Link interrupted.
I sighed. "Link's right, it smelled super off and just to continue on with the show we just went along with it. All the food smelled musty and weird anyway, but this one smelled extra peculiar.
*Flashback*
"So next up we got this one peculiar food we found off of Ebay," Link said in a puzzled matter. "It feels super strange, as if there's something loose in the can." He then shakes the can, hearing a sound clash inside.
"See, to me it sounds like beef jerky, it wasn't named, but the seller said it's really old vintage food," Rhett said to the camera.
"Let's open it, I'm kind of curious to see what's inside, it smells super strange, like different than the usual smell of old, vintage stuff," Rhett said, while slowly beginning to open the package.
Link replied, "It don' smell like the average can, it smells like ... wilted apples." Rhett stopped what he was doing and looked at Link.
"You are crazy man." Carefully, Rhett took the can opener and began to open the can. He delicately set the can down and peeled off the lid.
"AH OMY-GOD!" He smacked the can and he rolled backwards on his chair, startling Link and making his glasses fall.
"Link, what the HELL is that? Cut the cameras, now!"
"Rhett what's going on-
"Turn off the damn cameras Link!"
Feeling frustrated and confused, Link grabbed his glasses and ran to the camera, quickly turning it off before running back to his seat.
Link looked at the tipped-over can from a distance, watching a very small, but gingerly-looking figure crawl out from it.
"It's - it's a tiny girl!" Lick expressed.
Rhett, now standing towards the corner of the set began to slowly walk back towards the chair, not taking his eyes off the small being.
The girl looked beat up, scratches here and there outlined her body, her orange hair was ratted and cut unevenly, not to mention the dirt and oils that covered her scalp and ends. She was fit, but looked malnourished and weak. Her clothes were tattered and worn, and she only wore dirty white socks.
She crawled out onto the table, coughing and using one arm to put pressure on her head. She whimpered once more and collapsed, blowing out one last breath before fainting.
Rhett and Link both stared at the girl in awe before turning back to each other.
"I- uh, Rhett, w-what do we do?" Link whispered.
"I- don't goddamn know," Rhett yelled back in response. "J-just get that thing out of here!"
"Shush Rhett, you're yelling so loud you're going to have someone call the cops on us."
Rhett shook his head as he slowly pulled the cam away from the little girl and setting it aside. Link then carefully took his pointer finger and touched the back of the girl, watching the girl faintly twitch before retracting his finger back in response.
