The twins helped me take my luggage out of the car at the very end of the parking lot. They insisted that I'd allow them to carry my things to my room, but I rejected the idea immediately. If I were to walk into the campus with two men wearing leather jackets, black skinny jeans, black combat boots, black sunglasses and both with longer black hair with side cuts, all of my hopes for a fresh start would be ruined.

"Kieran this is ridiculous, you can't expect us to allow you to walk all the way to the student houses with this luggage!" Ye-jun exclaimed, while Yu-jun was nodding profusely.

"No, what is ridiculous, is that you believe I'd allow two men who look like they just stepped out of the set of an action movie walk me there and ruin my chances at a fresh start. Give me the bags, I'm a strong girl, I can take care of it." I threw my hand out waiting for them to give me the bag. They simply looked at each other and launched at me together. "What..are..you..doing..." I managed to mutter out, while they were both squeezing me with their bodies.

"We're going to miss you a lot. Please call us, I know that neither of us is the best company for a girl, but we had an incredibly amazing times with you." Ye-jun murmured. "Yeah, Kieran, don't forget us ok? Come visit home, call often. Also, pick up the phone when we call, or we will storm this whole place and flip it upside down until we find you. Don't make us worry." Yu-jun added. I smiled softly, I knew these boys cared for me, but the way they understood care was quite scary.

"Don't worry" I said, releasing myself from their grasps and taking the bags. "If anything goes south I will let you know immediately. Until then, please give me a chance to start anew. We already agreed to this. Give me some space, ok? I'll come visit." After saying that, I hugged them both and planted small kisses on their cheeks. They were as much my brothers as Dan was. None related by blood, all related by loss.

The moment that I turned on my heel and started to walk towards the housing, dragging my luggage behind me I felt an euphoric sensation in my belly. I've never experienced so called butterflies, but this seemed as close as possible to the feeling. I had to control all of my muscles to not smile like a dumbass. After walking around a hundred meters I started to regret wearing a leather jacket myself. It was incredibly hot, what was left of the summers sun was not giving up and warming me as if it were the middle of June. I paced up in hopes to not melt before even meeting my roommate.

When I reached the lady at the information table, I was almost dripping in sweat. She raised her brow after scanning my outfit and I smiled. "I moved here not too long ago, have yet to update the wardrobe." I lied while giving her my ID. My fake ID. She nodded with understanding and went to grab my key-card. I did move here not too long, but from another city not another continent. I simply sucked at planning my outfits. She came back quickly and gave me my key-card with some papers.

"You also need to sign the paperwork, it's basic information, stating that if you damage, break or ruin in any other way any of the furniture you will have to pay for it. Your roommate signed it already, just leave your name next to the signature." She explained. I skimmed through the text, I still wanted to be sure what I was signing. At the very bottom I saw a name written in pretty handwriting - Park Jimin. "Huh." I whispered to myself. That is an unusual name for a girl. But who was I to judge, my name was Kieran. "Something wrong, dear? " The lady asked. "No, no, everything is fine! " I answered and signed as fast as I could. I wanted to change my clothes as soon as possible. After giving the papers back I thanked her and hurried to my room. It was on the fifth and final floor of the building, at the very end of the hallway. The rooms were quite far apart, it was indicated in the pictures of the booklet, but I didn't expect them to be so big. Rushing through the hallway I've noticed that both men and girls were running around and carrying their stuff. I was confused to say the least, maybe the floors are divided by gender?

The doors were quite fancy, the key-cards were magnetic, I didn't need to turn the lock. I wouldn't be able to pick it either. No, bad Kieran. You will not be picking any locks or shooting any guns or fighting anyone. You will be living a normal life and will make a future for yourself. I put the key-card to the door and once it beeped I opened it. When I saw the inside of the room I simply stood in awe. I mean, I came from a quite rich background, our houses were always at least three stories high and decorated nicely, but this was simple university housing. I went inside and stepped out of my shoes. The main room was very spacious and was joined with a small kitchen. The living room had a couch, two armchairs, a coffee table and a TV. Straight from the entrance, at the other end of the room was a sliding door to the balcony. The kitchen space was on the right, it had a fridge and stove with a couple of white cupboards. The wall from the kitchen was cut in half down the middle and dragged onto the side of the living room, creating a somewhat separated but still conjoined space. The top of the cut-down wall was made out of the same light wood as the floors, and two barstools were set next to it. There was a door on the left side of the room and one next to the TV. I swiftly examined one on the right.

Stepping into the other room I found two desks with chairs next to it, the dark wood on the walls made the space very cosy and warm. This seemed like a study room, and even if the space was small it didn't feel compressed. I closed the doors and went to examine the ones on the left of the living room. Peeking in carefully, in case my roommate was already here, I sneaked in. It was the bedroom, it had two quite spacious beds on either sides of the room. Both sides had wardrobes at the ends of the beds and small nightstands on the side. The furniture mirrored each other. The wallpapers were light grey and the floor was made of the same light wood as in the living room. At the end of the room was another door slightly opened. I peeked inside and found a bathroom.

Only one bathroom, that's disappointing. I really hoped we'd have separate bathrooms, I never learned how to share my space. The bathroom was quite spacious, the toilet was on the left side, in the middle stood a cupboard with a sink and a washing machine, and on the right side stood our bath. It had a shower stand and was surrounded by clear glass. I wish I could take a shower right now. I checked my watch - 9:45. In no way I would make it to class, if I did, though. I stepped out of the bathroom and noticed a black luggage on the left side of the room. Huh, so she chose a side already. I pushed my luggage to the right side and sat on the bed. Just when I was about to stand up my phone rang, I received an email. "Nobody writes me emails... what?" I opened it and was pleasantly surprised that it was sent from a lecturer of my university. First thing I noticed that there were many receiving emails and crossed my fingers. "Dear Students.." I began reading under my breath. "My name is Anne, I will be your Psychology 101 course lecturer. I am very sorry to inform you that, unfortunately, class has to be cancelled today. Due to personal reasons I will not be able to come in, so please enjoy the free period and get accustomed to the campus. Let's meet same time next week!" I felt a smile creeping up my face. Sitting down I swiped to my camera roll, searching for the picture of my schedule. "Monday.. Monday... Aha! No classes! Only Psychology 101! I have a free day!" I raised my hands in triumph and plopped down on the bed, to only quickly stand up after realising that I stink and am still dripping in sweat.

I opened my luggage and set my bag next to it. Skimming through my clothes, I realised that even if I was making fun of the twins style, I had a similar one. Obviously, that was expected as they were my only shopping companions. Most of my jackets were black and leather, most of my jeans were dark and skinny. I had a lot of tight dark t-shirts, but at least I had a pretty colourful sweater collection. I took new underwear, a black t-shirt and a pair of lighter skinny jeans. I grabbed a towel from my bag and all of my shower products and went into the shower.

While showering, I heard someone walk around in the bedroom. Great, she is here and I'm in the shower. I hope she doesn't have classes now and stays longer, so I could at least say hello. I finished my shower routine as quickly as possible and put on some lotion. I heard her rummaging through the wardrobe. Ok, deep breath Kieran, it's going to be a bit awkward in the beginning, it's normal. You'll get along eventually and become great friends. I let out a small breath and called out to her. "Hi! I just finished showering, will be out in a second!" No answer. Rude. I put on my underwear and wrapped a towel around myself. Still fixing my towel I went to the door and opened it. From all the things I expected to see - this would have never been one.

It was a man.

It was a young, handsome man. And he was leaning on the wardrobe. His arms were crossed. And he was smirking. And I was standing in a fucking towel.
