As the night progressed, the intake of the alcohol did too. All of us were quite tipsy at this point and everyone was talking to everyone at the same time. The most sober one was Jimin, still stuck to me like glue, constantly eyeing me up and down without letting me relax for a moment. Kaia was fully lost in the conversation with Yoongi and Hoseok, and for a split second I saw that Yoongi was getting a bit annoyed at the need to share her attention.

I learned that Namjoon was actually a student here before us, he finished computer science. He was only a year older than us, but since he was sort of a genius in the field he jumped a few years. Hoseok didn't talk much about his job, but was proudly reminding everyone every couple of minutes that the owner of the club that Jimin actually knew was Yoongi. The very first time this information was delivered to us, Kaia looked at him wide eyed and he in turned rolled his, stating that he doesn't like to brag about it. It was obvious that the kid came from a rich background and knew how to invest his money properly, as the club was packing throughout the whole night.

Jin also didn't talk much about his activities, he just mentioned that him and Jungkook are in the same field of work. I inquired how the guys met up but the atmosphere shifted a bit and they brushed the question off by mumbling something about a common background. I didn't want to pry, so I didn't ask anything else. As the night went by, Kaia informed me that she felt ready to go dance a little bit and I couldn't have been more happy about this. We've been eyeing the dancefloor from our booth - the view was pretty open as our booth was right beside the balcony over the first floor. I agreed with her, a stretch of legs was a necessity. Just admit it, you want to run away from Jimin, dumbass. I hushed the voice inside my head with another sip of whichever cocktail I ordered now and stood up holding Kaia's hand. All the eyes turned turned to us in questioning manner.

"Kaia and I are going to dance, we did choose a nightclub over a pub for a reason " I explained calmly. The boys agreed and continued their conversations, all but two. Before either of them could protest I dragged Kaia out of the booth and went down.  I pulled Kaia closer as we were going through the crowd and yelled into her ear "Care to explain to me, how this small, anxiety and shyness filled body managed to get the most intimidating man of the group drool all over you?" Kaia simply giggled, lifted her shoulders and flipped her hair back. "It's all because of the suit" she grinned "It wouldn't have worked if I wore a dress." I giggled with her. Obviously it was the suit. We managed to squeeze ourselves in the crowd and started dancing to the music. The best thing about clubs was that nobody really needed to know how to dance, most of it was jumping and throwing your hands around and suddenly you looked like the best dancer there. We danced like this for quite some time, and I noticed Kaia lifting her eyes up oh so often. One time I followed her gaze and noticed Yoongi leaning on the balcony railing and eyeing her every move, like a hunter watching its prey. No wonder she stopped jumping and started to swing around more. I also caught a glimpse of Jimin, sitting with his elbows resting on his knees, following my every movement with an unreadable expression. I quickly decided to ignore it, as the fire in my pit kept growing. Kaia and I kept dancing squished in the crowd, laughing and making fun of each other for quite some time, before she stated that she needed to relax a bit. I told her to go join the guys first, since I wanted to go to the bathroom before that.

I looked into the mirror and fixed my appearance, Kaia did an amazing job, my make up was still holding perfectly. I ruffled my hair a bit to make the full look a bit more sexy and went out of the bathroom. This time some highly popular song was playing, so there was more space to walk through the bar. As soon as I walked past it a hand grabbed my elbow and I turned in a defensive stance immediately.

"Hi there." A young man turned to me, still holding my elbow. I stood still, trying to assess the situation, raising my eyebrow and pointing with my eyes to his hand. "Oh, sorry. I just didn't want to let you pass me without getting the chance to talk to you." He spoke nicely, but something about his tone didn't sit right with me. "Yeah, well this is not the most flattering way to grab a girls attention." I shot back while rubbing my elbow, he did grab it quite harshly. He turned on the barstool and faced me fully. He was a handsome man, I couldn't deny it, but everything about him screamed fishy business. The overly expensive suit, the fancy watch, everything pointed to dirty money. I've seen a lot of men like that to recognize them at first glance. "How about I buy you a drink as an apology?" He inquired and stood up in front of me, a little bit too close for my liking. "No thank you, I'm good." I said and was about to leave when he grabbed my waist and turned me around, pushing me onto the bar. "Oh come on, there's no need to play hard to get. I've had enough experience with girls like you to know that none are really too hard to get." He kept smiling creepily and my psycho mode turned on. "Oh really?" I asked seductively, noticing how his entire body shifted. "Trust me darling," I continued leaning to his ear "You really do not want to know how hard things can get for you. You better let me go now, for your own benefit, or I will not be responsible for my own actions." I pulled back and raised my eyebrows, indicating that now is the best time to let me go. Unfortunately, I miscalculated how much this man has had to drink as he found this more of a challenge instead of a threat. He grabbed my chin and tried to pull me closer, and as I was about to slap the living hell of his face his arm suddenly disappeared and he shrieked in pain.

"You let her go this instant or I will break all of your fingers." I heard a familiar voice. Turning my head I saw Jimin holding the man by a pinky, which was obviously bending to the wrong direction. I saw insane anger and fire in his eyes, he was ready to rip the man to shreds. The creep let me go and faced Jimin. "And who the fuck do you think you are, to tell me what to do and what not? " he inquired, releasing his arm from Jimin's grasp. In return Jimin took me by my hand and dragged me behind him. "Her boyfriend. Now piss off, or the broken fingers will be the least of your problems."

Her boyfriend. Her boyfriend. Her boyfriend. That was all I could think about while Jimin dragged me to a completely different side of the club. I was following him cluelessly, feeling the fear of being scolded and the butterflies from what he said mix with the euphoria from the alcohol in my stomach. I realised that I was much drunker than I thought. We finally ended up in a small room. Jimin dragged me inside and locked the door. I simply stood in the middle of the room like an idiot without knowing what to say or what to expect.

"Should I... apologise? " I began slowly. He immediately turned to me with a puzzled look on his face. "You seem quite angry at me." I explained in a calm manner. I really wanted to look composed, when in reality I was screaming inside, as the confusion was eating me up.

"Angry? At you? Do you really think that's what I am feeling right now? " He asked me, almost mockingly and ran his fingers through his hair. Oh my poor heart. I felt a bit stupid, but held my stance and nodded. "Kieran, I am not angry at you. From all the emotions I am feeling right now, that one is definitely not directed towards you. I am angry at him, but most definitely not you." I kept looking at him, waiting for him to continue, but he simply stood there looking at me with an unreadable expression. "What.." I begun again "What are you feeling right now then?" I managed to finish the sentence. For a split second I saw him waver in his decision, it seemed like he was weighing pros and cons, and I really couldn't tell which one won. "Are you sure you want to know?" He whispered and started to walk towards me slowly. The atmosphere shifted in the room immediately, his gaze was making me feel hot. I felt all of the supressed butterflies emerge from the depths of my insides and start flapping their wings everywhere. I realised how tight the space around us actually was. It felt like the room was shrinking. I kept looking at him, his eyes darkening with every step, piercing through me. He stopped just a few feet away from me and was waiting for my answer patiently. For a second it felt like he was an animal, chained, waiting for the final command. I licked my lips as whispered "Yes." And that was all it took. Jimin took few quick steps, grabbed my neck with one hand and the back of my head with another and crashed his lips on mine.
