Here Comes Goodbye

   Ed looked at Havoc and realized that seeing Roy just made him hurt all over again. Ed's knees buckled and he began to tear up. Havoc ran and pulled him into a tight hug. "Why doesn't he want me..?" Havoc felt bad for the boy and then lifted his head by his chin and wiped Ed's tears, "He doesn't know what he wants. It's probably he doesn't know how to take the feelings he has for you so he is pushing you away..."  Before Havoc could finish that statement, there was a pair of soft lips on his and within seconds, Havoc realized what was going on and kissed back but then pulled away. "Ed I'm not doing this. I mean I really want to but I don't think it's right. Your emotions are unstable and I know you want it to be Mustang who is your first time..." Ed sighed, he knew Havoc was right but because of his hazed cloud of anger and depression he had followed Havoc home. "Havoc... I'm so sor.." "It's fine but you need to go after him." "I can't. My heart tells me I should but I can't do it." Havoc nodded understanding completely the dillema the blonde was having with his heart and mind. Havoc gave him a pat on the top of the head and said his goodnight. Ed waited until he knew for sure Havoc was asleep then let the tears just flow as he thought of all the things that happened these past weeks. "Looks like tomorrow will be goodbye." With that Ed fell asleep with turmoil.

    Ed got to Central with little to no problems then it happened, "EDWARD ELRIC!" Ed turned to be met with an infuriated Mustang and he began to feel all the emotions he had planned to hide come back meeting those Onyx eyes. "Look Mustang, nothing happened between me and Havoc. I couldn't muster up the courage to do something like that even though I know how you really feel." Ed was looking at the ground knowing he couldn't bear to look at Roy, at least not now. 'One hour is all it will take before I leave.' Ed thought. 'I need thirty minutes to change his mind.' Was going through Roy's mind and Roy then inhaled and exhaled and lifted Ed's face by his chin. "Ed, the things I said to you were in fear of hurting you more than I can even bear. The truth of the matter is I was afraid to say that I lo..." Before he could finish, he heard Alice, "Roy sweetie! We're going to be late!" Alice walked over and kissed Roy on the cheek and gave Ed a dirty glare. Roy then knew he had missed his chance to confess because of this woman. Roy began to walk off and as he did Alice stayed for a moment and then spoke toEd, "If you try to make a move on him I'll just have to tell the higher ups what you really did to have that arm and leg." Ed's eyes grew wide with anger and he walked up to Roy pulled him down by the collar and kissed him. "Tell them then. Not like they will believe a whore like you!" With that Ed walked off to cool his head. Alice stood there in shock and as she went up to Roy, he glared at her, " I'm not deaf I know what you said to him. If you so much as make another comment like that I will see to it you can't work anywhere else in this country. Got it?" She nodded and he then went back to the office he knew exactly where Ed would be. Ed was sitting in Roy's office just like Roy had expected. "You know I've always hated her..." Roy chuckled, "Hated or jealous?"  Roy ran a hand through his hair, "So how long have you felt like this..?" "For about three years. Look I've already signed the papers to go to Shing. I'll be staying with Ling and he has books I can read on Alchehistory and I can learn so much.." Ed kept chatting but Roy tuned out as soon as Ed said Ling. Roy's body acted before he realized it as he walked around the desk and kissed Ed passionately and laid him onto the couch.  Ed was shocked as Roy put a hand down his pants and began to rub him through his boxers and Ed tried to speak, "Roy we can't we will get fired." Roy looked up with an animalistic expression, "Let them fire us It'll mean that you can't go to Shing and be his." Ed's eyes widened Roy has given into jealousy and lust. Ed pushed him off as much as he wanted this, he refused for his first time to be like a rape scenario. "Look Mustang I'm not doing this..." "But Ed isin't this what you wanted? You finally.." All you hear is a slap echo throughtout the room. Roy stands there holding his cheek and looks at a teary eyed Ed. 'Damnit I've hurt him again.' Roy thought. "Roy Mustang, I can't let you do this to yourself. I won't let you do this to me either. All these years of having feelings for you and watching you throw money away into drinking and women who only wanted to be with you because you were high up... Having to help you when you were hung over and acting like I didn't give a shit... Do you have any idea how much this hurts to leave you?! I love you more than I can put into words. I almost gave up getting my arm back so you could have your sight again. And then my leg I gave up to get Al. And I never so much as got a damn thank you from you. I witnessed things on the other side of that gate that are not for normal human eyes to see. I saw things I wish I could unsee and now after all this your upset because I'm staying with Ling? This is total bullshit and you... Actually I have to go now... Goodbye Roy. I'll be back in anywhere from six months to two years. If you still want me then.... I guess we can try. With that Ed walked out and headedto the underground train that goes straight into Shing where a eager Ling awaited his soon to be lover even if it meant having to use alchehistory to fool him into it...
