Roy looked up at the clock he was franticly trying to get his work done so he could get out of here. He didn't want to see her not today. He was almost done with an hour to spare when,*knock knock knock* "Lieutenant Mustang you have a visitor." Hawkeye says with a smile apparent in the way she spoke. "Damn, let him in." The last person other than his mother that he didn't want to see was Edward. Ed walked in hands in his pockets looking at Roy with a straight face but there was something in his eyes Roy couldn't comprehend. He shrugged it off, "what is it Fullmetal I am very busy today and don't have time for you and your short fuse." Roy smirked when he saw Ed's jaw clench, "whatever you say lieutenant asshole. I just came to turn in my report and findings but I guess you're too busy for me huh?" With that Ed walked out and a woman walked past him into Roy's office. "Busy my ass. He's just having a private session with a woman." Ed said as he walked over to hand Riza his report. "Actually Ed, that's his mother. She is here to bug him about his engagement." "Wait the fool actually got hitched? I think a congrats is in order... The way we Elrics do it." he said with an evil glint in his eyes. "Wait Ed he's not engaged." Then Riza began to explain what the issue was.

In the office on the other hand, Roy wanted desperately to get out. "So sweetie who is the lucky lady, does she work here? Do I know her? What's her name how tall is she?...." His mom just kept the questions going and he had enough, "Mom, I'm trying to put in a word but you aren't letting me. If you want to meet my fiancé, I can just call them so you can meet them face to face." His mom smiled a huge smile and as he picked up his phone and called Riza telling her to come here like clockwork Ed walked in, "Roy! we need to talk now!" Roy's mother looked at the boy then back to Roy and said,"You didn't mention your fiancé was a man and cutie at that. Hello darling I'm Lorena, Roy's mother." She then got up and hugged him and Ed's only thought was 'What did I walk into?'
