Just Go With It

      Roy looked at his mom and Ed then pulled Ed outside, "I'll be back in a moment mother." he closed the door and once again Ed ran off at the mouth "Fiancée, me what?" Ed looked just as baffled as Roy felt. "Look Ed, my mom is in town for a month and I need you to be my fiancée until she leaves..." a thought then struck into Ed's mind as he smirked, "I'll go with it but no sending me on any missions that take six months to a year." Roy cringed, "Fine." "I'm more worried about you though, can you truly stop womanizing for an entire month? I mean you have a different date everyday and at night well I don't know but still..." "Fullmetal, as your superior officer it is now you mission to play role as my fiancée." Ed nodded and looked at Everyone else as they laughed he smirked and as Roy opened the door, he clung onto his free arm and spoke, "Sweetie.... I don't want to go on missions overseas this month." Riza smiled and shook her head,"maybe they will see they are perfect together now..." Riza said with a light chuckle. Roy sighed and went along with it, "Darling you can stay if you promise to do local research on the philosophers stone but anyway enough business. Mother this is my fiancé Edward Elric. Edward this is my mother Lorena Mustang." Ed walked over and kissed her hand, "It is a pleasure madam." 

      Roy was stunned at how well Ed can act but then looked at his mother whose face was bright red, "t...The pleasure is all mine sir Elric. Roy be glad I'm not twenty years younger otherwise I'd steal this cutie away from you." Roy was once again stunned but said nothing of it as his mother once again went on with the questions. "So Ed tell me how did you two meet? how did he propose and most importantly... how did you stop his womanizing ways?" Ed let out a chuckle and then blushed a bit, "Well, when I met Roy for the first time, it was during the state alchemy exams. He was my opponent for the final round to see if I was able to work here for the state. After about three months he became the one I had to report all my mission findings to, and we used to hate each other or that's what I thought at least. After having known each other for a year we realized over that year we had feelings and he proposed. Honestly at first I said no because I felt like it was a joke but then instead of going out with the boys he would head home. One night I decided to check in on him and he was just so sad and then I thought I love this man so I told him yes and we've been together ever since." Lorena and Roy were both in shock. Lorena because she totally thought it was true and Roy he was so shocked that Ed not only came up with that on the spot but he was so convincing to the point Roy believed it himself. Ed smiled, "well if you two will excuse me I have to go make a trip. I'll see you at home sweetie." Ed then did something that lieutenant didn't expect, he got on his tip toes and planted a kiss on his cheek. With that Ed ran out of the room. Roy touched his cheek and thought 'why do I feel like that part of my skin is burning up? I doubt I'm in love with him yet I want to kiss him more than any other woman.' Ed on the other hand was panicking as he ran to his apartment. 

      He got in the door and packed his things, "big brother what's the matter.?" Ed looked at Al and explained everything including the kiss on the cheek. Al nodded, "well first I think you should relax it was just on the cheek, secondly if you plan to impress his mother you...You need some new clothes so... Let's go. I'll pay because transmutation for clothes won't be acceptable this time." With that Ed was dragged to the tailor and the clothing outlets all around town. Ed looked at the clothes he laughed at the fact they spent so little and got so much. He then turned all the clothes into a umbrella and said goodbye to Al. "Looks like for this next month I just have to go with it...
