14: Beautiful Boy ( 9 months!!)

    I was woken up when I felt something flow from between my legs. I panicked pushing Bokuto off the bed. He fell off with a thud and a groan. I got up immediately checking the time.
" Akaashiiii. Did you-"
" Bokuto that was my water! " He looked at me blankly.
" I went to bed last night with pains. And now I wake to my water breaking! " I frantically started a stop watch on my phone. That's when his eyes went wide.

     While he ran around packing the hospital bag. I changed my pj pants trying to calm my nerves. I felt a wave of pain wash over me so I looked at the time. Keeping note of how far apart each contraction was. Right now they laid at about 13 minutes a part. And lasted 30 seconds.

   " How far apart are they Akaashi? " Bokuto came up behind me stroking my feathers gently. I groaned softly telling him.
" I'm fucking cutting off your dick after thiiiiis " I breathed feeling the pain subside.
" How about I just get fixed, so it's not as bloody. I'd like to still have something dow-"
" Shut up you big owl! "

    Once in the car the pains got worse, checking the time I saw they'd now become 10 minutes apart. I tried to focus on my breathing and not cussing like a sailor every time we hit a bump.

    The ride wasn't long, and soon we had our room. I laid in the hospital bed the only soothing sound being of the babes heart beat. Bokuto had stepped out to call his mom to let her know what was going on. I clenched my fist as a flash of pain shot up. Still keeping track. Once it passed I slowly relaxed. A knock came from the door. I let the person know they could come in. Bokuto stepped into the room worry still hanging from his brow.
    " Mom will be here soon as of your request. How are things going? Need anything? I can call my mom, and see if she'll maybe grab something? " He pulled a chair up next to me taking my hand.
    " I'm fine for now babe. Right now I'm not worried about myself. I'm only worried about our owlet. And making sure everything is safe for them" Bokuto only smiled kissing my forehead.

    Before the nurse left she told us we were getting closer to having to push. She was a calm swan which helped my anxiety a little bit. I looked at Bokuto who smiled back kissing my hand.
    " We'll have Hinata here soon! I can't wait to hold hiimm" The snow owl cued with excitement. I smiled softly but that turned to pain when a contraction ripped through me. This one worse then any other I'd felt up until this moment. I squeezed Bokuto's hand tight.
   " By the end of this I don't think I'll have any bones left in my hand"
    " I wouldn't be in this situation if you'd just talked me out of having a baby! Or worn a condom either way"

    " Breath Mr. Kōtarō" The nurse spoke softly holding my other hand. I laid back feeling the pain pass. Bokuto wiped away a small tear that fell with his free hand. I squeezed his other feeling another brush of pain prick up.
 

  " Push! " She started counting, so I started baring down. Bokuto rubbed small circles on my knuckles while whispering words of encouragement.

    " You're doing great my spotted owl. "
  " Oh eat ass you prick! " The nurse gave a small laugh before telling me to relax.
