It was weird at first. Sitting next to Sawyer after what he did was uncomfortable and the atmosphere between us was thick with tension. Jessica and Rayan would engage us in conversation trying to ease the tension but it was too much to handle for me.
He was once again a stranger to me and I didn't speak apart from the usual hello when he sat next to me in English class and in the cafeteria. But as days morphed into weeks, Sawyer approached me.
I was standing by my locker packing when he stood infront of me nervousness dripping from his actions. "Err..Hi," he rubbed his neck something he usually did when he was nervous-I don't know how I picked that habit but it was there in my mind. "I don't know how to put it but I feel like I have sucked up our friendship. I miss you been carefree and comfortable next to me. It's still clear that you voiced the forgiveness but didn't let it settle in your mind and heart." He said looking deeply into my eyes as if it would speak for me. He was right, never was forgiving easy for me. I would always replay his words and the image of his lips against mine. "I want to ask for a proper forgiveness, not like the time when I broke into your room. I want to take you out for a coffee today?" Coffee sounded great but if that meant sitting oposite Sawyer and having him stare the life away from me, too bad because I wasn't sure about myself when I was next to him.
"Sounds good." I tried putting up a smile to mirror his goofy one.
"Will be there to pick you up seven." He closed the distance between us and placed his hands on my shoulders for a hug. I felt electrocuted when he rubbed his hand up and down my back.

I stared at my reflection feeling nervous. It wasn't like I was going for a date but my heart wouldn't let me settle. I heard a honk letting me know that he was there. I double checked my appearance, my brown straight hair was grazing my butt and my eyelashes were coated with mascara. I didn't look that bad I guessed.
Grabbing my purse, I descended down the stairs to find Ashley sitting on the couch and flipping through the channels of the tv.
She lifted her eyes from the screen to stare at me when she heard the clicking sound of my shoes. No I wasn't wearing high-heels but my sandals had small edge like heels that were stabbing the concrete.
"Going out?" She asked after taking in my appearance. I guessed I have dressed a little extra than usual."Yah just to grab coffee with a friend." She broke into a huge smile and nodded her head in understanding.
"Is it Sawyer?" I bowled my eyes out at her, wondering how she got to know him.
"I got to know him that day when he came to visit you but you were napping in your room. He is a nice guy." She answered as if reading my mind. "By the way, I wanted to inform you that next week am flying to Florida." I nodded hating myself for wanting her presence in the house. I hated when people come and disappear because it creates a feeling of hollowness in the house even if they mean nothing to you.I stepped out of the house only to spot the black sedan with Sawyer leaning against it. His leather jacket matching with the car and oh did he look killing. I stared at him trying to control the ice that broke into my stomach and he caught my gaze swallowing my appearance.
"You look incredibly beautiful." He smiled making a heat rose up my cheek.
"You don't look bad yourself." I answered slipping into the car to escape his heated gaze.
The car ride was peacefull with the soft music blasting from the radio filling the air space between us.
Sawyer parked infront of a Chinese restaurant and opened the car door for me making my heart skip a beat. I knew we weren't in a date or anything but his gesture made it look like one. I hoped out of the car plastering the best smile I could offer.
We sat at a corner next to a large window where we could see the busy road. An old man who was wearing a green apron approached us. "Hello kids. What will you like to have?" We gave our orders. We opted for chips masala while the old waiter scribbled our order. "Any drink? Wine or?" He winked while my mouth dropped in surprise, we were under age and I had never tasted any illegal liquor.
"Nah, Coke will do.." Sawyer turned down the offer but my mind piqued an interest.
"Wine for me." I uttered while the guy sitting opposite me was taken aback. Sawyer looked at me in complete shock while the Old waiter smiled encouragingly at me."Your girlfriend is daring just like my wife." The old man remarked and before I could protest he walked away.
"Rowdy, are you okay? You.." I cut Sawyer confirming that I in my own mind ordered some wine. I wanted to feel how it tasted and there could be no better time than today.
"Here is your order. Enjoy." The old waiter winked and walked away.
"You can't take this now." Sawyer placed his hand on the glass of wine.
"Why? Because you think am too weak to handle it." I was annoyed and the slight cramps I was feeling didn't do me good.
"I....you.." he was confused gazing at me as the grip he had on the glass loosened. I took the opportunity and snatch the glass dawning the hot bitter liqueur. I wondered why people fancied wine, trust me that thing is bitter. Painfully bitter. It burnt my throat but the feeling it came with was worth the shot. I felt like a bird soaring depth into the clouds. Everything I looked at started appearing more colourful than usual. I could see the door dancing making me laugh out loud. I felt light headed when I stood up and staggered falling on Sawyer. He smelled nice as I held tightly onto his shirt sniffing his manly scent.
"Which spray do you use? I would like to buy it sometime. And ooh your hair is silky..I want to know the shampoo too." I ran my hands through his hair feeling his soft hair against my skin.
Everything went blur and hazzy as Sawyer pulled me out of the restaurant with me pouting crying over the fact that I was hungry and didn't get to touch my meal.

Rough. Heavy. Headache. I was feeling all that at the same time. I tried to roll on my bed but I was caged in between something that was unknown to me. I slightly open my eyes soon horror filling inside me. SAWYER. I was shocked seen him in my bed with his hand tightly holding onto my waist. I jerked up causing Sawyer to sit up also and gaze at me with eyes full of worry."You fine?" He enquired while I gulped at the memory of our close proximity.
No. We did no wrong. Something did happen between, he is shirtless. Oh hell the packs he got, the muscles are worth staring. My mind was going haywire and I pulled at my hair almost losing my mind.
Sawyer shifted next to me, stretching his hand to hold me, "you are fine don't worry." He patted my head hugging me close to him. Goosebumps rose on my skin as a thought came across my mind causing me to pulled back from the comfort of Sawyer's chest."Why can't I remember anything about last night? Did we do something bad." Tears filled my eyes and a stubborn tear escaped it's cage.
"No. Nothing dirty happened between us apart from you trying to strip me naked." He joked rubbing the tear and pulled me positioning me in between his legs.
"Don't worry you are as good to go as you were when you stepped out of this house yesterday." He pushed a strand of hair behind my ears and brought his lips onto my ears, his warmth yet rough lips grazing the soft skin. I shut my eyes tightly battling with the feeling that were erupting like a volcano inside me.
