Tolerance. I think I was learning the aspect of tolerating others. I stood infront of this gold haired girl shooting questions on my way. If I wasn't tolerant enough, I swear she could find my claws in her flesh. I imagined me holding her to the floor spilling her blood but shook it from my head. I was better than a violent teenage.

The girl infront of me had the guts to walk upto the table I shared with the guys and smile sweetly at Sawyer asking, "mind if I borrow her for a minute?" ignoring my confused glare. I was sitting right next to Sawyer and she had to ask him that like he was a controller or owner of my soul.
Sawyer shook his head and pointed at me
"As long as she doesn't mind." As soon as the words left his mouth, the girl grabbed my hand pulling me out of my seat.

I was thinking of what was so important that got her to forcefully grab me without my permission that's too when I had no idea about her. Staring at her as she stood in my sight It hit me that her face wasn't new to me. After struggling to place her face, it finally settled, memories of a week later taking place at the back of my mind.

She was one of the girls that were with Monicamolisa(I had to still get her name right) that day in the washroom.

I narrowed my eyes at her, "mind explaining why you got me out of the cafeteria away from my lunch?" I was annoyed and to top it all my stomach was softly grumbling reminding me of the food that I barely touched laying metres away from me.

"Just wanted to ask you few important questions. Are you and Sawyer having something going on between you?" She asked.

I huffed in annoyance. "That's really important. So much more important than having a peaceful lunch," I answered sarcastically. "and as for your question, I don't see how it concerns you but lemme be good enough and just let you know that we don't have 'something' but many things going on between us." I finished smirking to myself when I saw her pale expression.
I walked out on her and into the cafeteria leaving her standing there with shocked expression.

I settled on my chair and started greedily munching on my chips when I felt Evan's eyes scan me. I looked into his eyes and furrowed my brows mouthing 'what'.
"Do you guys know each other. I mean  you and Harley?" He asked nervously.

"Who's Harley?" I asked confused making Evan release a relieved sigh and run his hands through his hair. Adam sitting next to him glared at him and rolled his eyes muttering, "still into that bitch. Bro learn to let go there are many fishes in the sea."

"Who is Harley?" I asked again and this time was answered by Sawyer. He said she was the girl who pulled me out of my seat. Oh my God! I shouted mentally realizing how Evan was staring at her when she came to get me while she didn't even glance once at him.

"So you have feelings for her?" I spoke out. My curiosity was taking the better side of me. Since I started sitting with them, I realized I was growing talkative(a personality I barried long ago). I couldn't keep my mouth shut and would voice out any question on my mind. Evan looked at me surprised as I never talked much since I sat with them.

"Yeah. He asked her out but she turned him down because of his mismatched eyes. She said he was out of her league or something of the sort. I think you should love the person for who they are and Evan is too good for her." Jessica said making Rayan's eyes shine with proud. He held her face in between his hands and placed his lips onto her forehead.

"I don't believe in love. That thing is shit." Adam growled angrily but I wasn't surprised since he was always the moody guy and him showing affection to someone was impossible or so I think.

The bell rung announcing to us that the period of lunch was over. I stood up the exact time Sawyer did. Without a word, I strode down the hallway to my locker. Taking my chemistry book out, I shut the locker and turned around almost bumping into a tall guy.

"Oops! Sorry." He smiled ear to ear brushing the golden locks of hair that shadowed his brown eyes. He seemed out of breath and had sweat beads on his forehead making me realize that he was one of the basketball players that had practice during lunch.

"No prob." I offered a smile and passed by him coming eye to eye with Sawyer who was staring at me with a frown on his lips, something so rare. Not giving a much thought about him, I walked away and into my chemistry class. I found the same spot  I have been sitting for two week at the far end of the class and sat placing my bag onto the empty chair next to me. I was grateful that no one came to claim the vacant seat next to me so I made it my table placing my bag and pouch.

Our chemistry teacher started with lectures about how we should study hard and how she excelled at her high school exams because she was hardworking and proud of herself. She was in the middle of her lecture when a soft knock on the door silenced her. She opened the door and the gold haired guy I almost ran into, stepped in towering the teacher.

"You were not here for two weeks Roy?" The teacher looked up at him.
"I was out of the city Maam." He replied and the teacher excused him. I groaned to myself knowing that the only vacant seat in the class was next to me.

Roy comfortably and happily sat on the chair stretching his long legs.

Taking down the notes and the questions on the board, I glanced at my wrist watch counting down the minutes remaining.
Fifteen more minutes to go.

"You have fifteen minutes to discuss the questions with your partner. I love discussion work, it helps alot if you are serious. It's the reason why I had an A in my chemistry exam, thanks to my teacher." I was starting to hate this teacher. She was always bragging about her grades.

Picking her file, the teacher exited the class and soon screeching sound of chairs being pulled filled the room.

"Hey. Am Roy Sydney. I guess you are new, haven't seen you last year." I was still going with the 'new student' even when I was two weeks old. I doubted if they will ever stop calling me that.

"Yah it's my second week now. Am Rowdey Austen." Roy moved his chair close to mine and said, "am not science person. Won't be much of help." He rubbed his neck smiling anxiously.

"No prob am a chemistry person. I think we will get along well." I placed my exercise book at the centre and soon we started discussing. Roy was truthful when he said he wasn't a science person. He would often stare at th question, narrow his eyes and flip pages of the textbook in search of answers. I would explain everything to him while he pulls at his hair causing me to chuckle.

Finally the bell rung and I took my bag and placed my books inside. Roy stood next to me and took his book in his hand since he didn't come with a bag.

"You truly are a scientist." I laughed at that. He was right, I might be an English sucker but I loved science. The information in it always intrigue me.

"Thanks, it's just that I love science." I admitted causing him to grin.

"Then I should have a tutoring session with you." He joked to which I laughed.
"I have Biology, a science next. I guess you have history right?" He huffed while I nodded my head as no.

"Have English." I confirmed, adding "unlucky me" at the same time Roy said,
"Lucky you." We both cracked at that. Roy stepped close to me and unexpectedly hugged me. It was the first time for so long that someone hugged me. I was surprised and hesitantly placed my hand on his shoulder and my eyes caught Sawyer's crystal blue ones over Roy's shoulder. I notice the same frown on his lips for the second time today before he turned around and left.

Why was he frowning much today? Was he mad because he thought I made a new friend? And if it's that, why would he be infuriated by it?
