I don't know why I allowed Obi to stay in my home overnight. I guess a part of me that cared for him before the fallout feels bad for him getting injured like that, but the rest of me just simply does not care. I guess I really am bored with life. That's part of the reason I accepted the challenge of pursuing his bounty. He'd basically announced to me one day that he was there to turn me in for the reward and I knew he had one looming over him as well so I lied and said the same. Now I'm only doing it out of boredom and too annoy him. The money doesn't mean much to me because I truly have way too much money than I know what to do with. I don't care for it and the status I left behind but it does feel good to not have to want for anything. I just can't stand being bored. I sigh and cast a glance at my bedroom door before changing into an oversized tunic and crawling into bed. Perhaps I'll wake up and he'll have been smart enough to leave. He needs to find a way to either hide from Eiro or to pay him back as soon as possible. He doesn't really have any other options otherwise. Hes' not exactly in the right kind of shape to fight them off either.

I roll over and groan at the slight sunlight filtering through a crack in the curtain. I smell food... Why do I smell food? Is it already late enough for the tavern to start dinner service? Wait... I let Obi stay the night if he wanted. Is he helping himself to my food supply? He better not be... With a huff I get out of bed and slip on my slippers, then grab my cigarettes. I shuffle out into the main room and find Obi standing at my stove with three pans going at once.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I wanted to be nice to you for some reason. You fixed my injuries and let me stay so I figured breakfast was the least I could do."

"So, to pay me back, you use my food I bought with my money?"

"No, I went and got food then brought it back." He shoots back.

"If you left, why'd you come back?"

"You make it incredibly difficult to be nice to you." Obi sighs.

"You've known me for how many years and are just now figuring that out?" I smirk before shoving him aside to fix myself a plate.

I fold myself into a chair with my knees to my chest after securing a cup of coffee as well. Obi comes to sit across from me at the table a few minutes later and we eat in relative silence.

"So, why didn't you ever mention you were nobility?" He asks suddenly.

"I don't know what you mean."

"Everything you own is high quality."

"I prefer the finer things." I shrug as I nibble on a piece of bacon.

"The amount of money you'd have to earn through jobs in able to afford all of these things would be impossible. There's no way you could secure that much by yourself safely."

"For someone of your ability, sure. You underestimate me, Obi."

"You can talk circles, Arowen, but you and I both know we're evenly matched there. You're noble, aren't you?"

"I was once, possibly, maybe, perhaps, of a noble ranking." I finally admit. "What of it?"

I've had to listen to Obi asking a million questions after I told him that I used to be noble. I haven't told him my connection or the family name associated, but he does know something. Telling him anything more would likely lead to more questions and definitely more complications for myself. That's a mess I do not want to get into. I finally give up and hold a hand up to silence him before getting to my feet.

"You are overstepping boundaries Obi. Consider yourself lucky that I allowed you to stay at all, don't push me. Shouldn't you be more concerned about Eiro anyway?"

"Perhaps. I'm not exactly afraid of Eiro though."

"I don't buy that. Regardless, I have things to do, so run along before I decide just to cash you in now."

"You wouldn't cash me in, you said yourself you wanted a challenge, but still, until we meet again Arowen." He gives me a cocky smirk as he attempts a somewhat painful looking bow then makes his way out of my home. He's such an idiot.

I make my way through the market stalls, humming a tune under my breath as my eyes study everyone from beneath my hood. I have a plan, but now I need to find the person I need to make the plan possible. I just don't have a lot of time and the person I need is hard to find. My steps falter and a small smile crosses my face. That was a little easier than I thought. I make my way over to the woman in a tattered black cloak and steal an apple from a stall along the way.

"I found a little Kitty, didn't I?" I chuckle and she sighs.

"I feel like my final words will be 'call me Kit'. What do you need Wenny?"

"Who says I need anything?" I ask dramatically. "Can I not drop in on my dear childhood friend?"

"Not when you only come when you need something."

"Fine," I huff and light a cigarette. "I need your help."

"Do I even want to know?"

Kitty and I are at her home, a cave hidden in the forest not too far from the walls of Wistal Castle. It would seem a little gutsy to make your main location here when you're a criminal, but no one bothers her out here. She casts me a withering look as she pulls down the hood of her cloak and takes a seat on the log in front of the fire.

"So, what did you do this time?"

"I actually didn't do anything this time."

"Is it that boy?" I make a face and go to light a cigarette but she takes my pouch hostage. "Answer and I'll return it."

"Yes..."
