Double Life

Chapter 10

Sorry it took me so long to update guys, life has been crazy. I've had to juggle two jobs, life in general, some big changes in my life, and some family problems. I'm hoping to finish this story very soon. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.

Since it was already late and they had school tomorrow, Lauren told Tyler that she could spend the night and Tyler accepted. Tyler decided this would also be the best time to tell Destiny the truth and keep her promise to Alister. They arrived at Lauren's ten minutes later and were greeted by Alaska when they entered the house. "Hey Lauren" Alaska says hugging and then turning to Tyler, "...and Harley." "Hi" Tyler says holding out her hand, "It's nice to finally meet you." "Same" Alaska says looking at Lauren questionably. Lauren smiles sheepishly, then grabs Tyler's hand and drags her to her room.

They enter Lauren's room and Lauren closes her door. Tyler and Lauren stare at each other for a few seconds before they burst out in laughter. After several seconds after they have calmed down Tyler says, "I think we confused your sister." "I think your right" Lauren says wiping the tears from her eyes. "What's so funny" Destiny asks walking in. "Alaska" Lauren replies. "Oh Harley...hi...I didn't realize you were here, I thought...never mind" Destiny says looking at Lauren and raising her eyebrow. Tyler and Lauren burst out in laughter again. "What's so funny now" Destiny asks confused.

"Right" Tyler says after they have stopped laughing for the second time, "I should probably properly introduce myself." "I know who you are, your Harley Davidson" Destiny says, "Overnight sensation. The person that made it possible to be a musician." "Not exactly" Tyler says. "What are you getting at" Destiny asks. "Your right about me being an overnight sensation and musician, however..." Tyler says sticking out her hand, "Hi, I'm Tyler, Tyler Echo." Destiny looks at Tyler with a wtf expression on her face then looks at Lauren with an are you serious expression. "Oh right" Tyler says taking off her wig, "It's nice to officially meet you."

Destiny with a shocked expression looks in between Lauren and Tyler. "I think I broke your other sister" Tyler says. "I think your right" Lauren says. After several seconds Destiny says, "God I'm an idiot, it all makes sense now. How did I not see it?" Tyler raises an eyebrow and Lauren says, "Huh?" "You meet Tyler and tell her your dream job and then a few days later a new guy that looks like Tyler shows up and makes it possible" Destiny says, "They both confess to liking you and don't get upset when you chose one of them over the other. The only thing that still doesn't make sense is how you and Harley were in the same place at the same time since you're the same person."

"I'm glad you brought that up, cuz I needed to tell you something about that" Tyler says, "It was me and Alister that you saw." Destiny blinks a few times before she burst out in laughter. Once she calms down, Destiny says, "That's hilarious but seriously, how did you pull it off." "Like I said" Tyler says, "With the help of Alister." "Your joking right" Destiny asks then looks at Lauren, "She's joking right? Cuz last I checked Alister bullied her." "I'm dead serious" Tyler says. At the same time Lauren says, "She's not joking." Destiny looks in between Tyler and Lauren with a shocked expression, "How the hell did you convince him to help you?"

"Because I promised I would put in a good word for him to you" Tyler says. "Wait..." Destiny says, "Are you saying that he...that Alister...likes me?" "That's exactly what I'm saying" Tyler says, "All I'm asking is that you consider giving him a chance." "And why would I do that" Destiny asks, "He's a complete asshole, he bullies you, and not to mention is a player." "I promised to put in a good word if he helped me" Tyler says, "So could you just think about it? Not just for me, but for Lauren." "I..." Destiny sighs and then says, "Fine, I'll think about it." "And for the record he agreed to help me and hasn't bullied me since then" Tyler says, "Also thank you, that's all I can asks."

"Well I'm going to go" Destiny says walking out of Lauren's room, "See you around." "You think she's going to agree" Tyler asks Lauren. "I think she will" Lauren says, "Only to appease Alister so that he won't do anything stupid like beat you up or tell the world your Harley Davidson." "Ok" Tyler says, "Well we should probably get ready for bed, we have an early day." Lauren gets ready in her bathroom and when she finishes, she exits to see Tyler standing in the middle of the room as herself looking at her. "Can I help you with something" Lauren asks. "Yes, you can actually" Tyler says. Tyler sets her phone to the side as music begins to play.

"So..." Tyler asks. "Yes" Lauren squeals running into Tyler's arms. Tyler smiles and wraps her arms around Lauren. She picks her up and starts spinning her around. Lauren can't stop smiling or laughing. When Tyler stops and puts Lauren down, they look into each other's eyes. They both lean in and are about to kiss when the door slams open. Tyler quickly ducks behind Lauren while grabbing her wig and situation it on her head. "What's going on" Alaska asks, "And what's Harley doing." "Nothing" Lauren says. Tyler stands up now that the wig is situated on her head. "I just asked Lauren to be my girlfriend" Tyler says.

"And I said yes" Lauren says smiling. "What's with all the noise" Destiny asks walking into the room. "They are officially dating" Alaska says. Destiny looks at Lauren then Tyler flashing a smile before saying, "About time." "Shut up Destiny" Lauren says. "For the record this is the second time I had to ask her" Tyler says. Lauren elbows Tyler then looks at her smiling. Tyler returns the smile and says, "Hey, I'm not complaining here, you did say yes." "I'm happy for you two" Alaska says, "But seriously, get ready for bed. You three have school tomorrow." "I should probably sleep on the couch" Tyler says, "Goodnight Destiny, Alaska. Goodnight Lauren, see you in the morning." "See you in the morning" Lauren says.
