Locked In (Pt.1)

3rd Person's P.O.V
Nagisa couldn't help but stare, as her words circled around his head...

Talk to him? What would she even need from a guy like him? After all the explaining they did on why she should stay away from him, she suddenly wants to see him?

Has everything that happened made her go mad?

"Nagisa? Are you—"

"What on earth are you saying?" Nagisa questioned, giving her a stern look "Have you lost your mind? Why would you want to talk to that Demon?!"

"Well...that's—"

"No."

Yuki's eyes turned wide, not expecting him to turn her down so fast "Wh-What...?"

"I don't care what your reason is. You're not getting close to that THING. And whether you like it or not, that's final."

"But Nagisa—!"

"NO BUTS!!!" Nagisa raised his voice, starting to feel more irritated than worried by her request "Yukiko, we've told you from time and time again that he is DANGEROUS, and when we thought that we could trust that you'd stay away, you ask to see him? Are you out of your mind!?"

"You just don't get it—!"

"*YOU* DON'T GET IT!!!" He cut her off, spinning his body around in order to fully face her "WE'RE TRYING TO KEEP YOU SAFE YU—!"

"HERE YOU GO AGAIN WITH THE WHOLE "TRYING TO KEEP YOU SAFE" THING!!!" She talked back, stumbling forward and giving him a harsh glare "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN FOR ONE DAMN SECOND!?!?!?"

Nagisa was...speechless. Taken aback by her sudden outburst so much, he almost tripped on his own feet as he walked back.

She never exploded on anyone that hard before. Sure, she had her moments, she was the youngest and had less control over her emotions compared to the others. Sometimes even less than Monaca.

However...never once did she scream that loud. Never once did she cuss at someone. And never once did she tell someone to shut up so aggressively...

It almost reminds him of...

No. He can't compare her to them.

They were Demons. And she's an Angel. Maybe even the Angel of all Angels.

...

So...

Why is he hurting...the same way his parents made him hurt..?

Which was why, instead of telling her to calm down like he usually did...

He just...stood there.

He stood in silence as Yukiko tried catching her breath. Still furious.

At least, that's what Nagisa thinks.

Yukiko wasn't ACTUALLY mad at him. She didn't ACTUALLY wanted to tell him off in that way. She didn't actually FEEL that way.

Honestly, she didn't know what to feel at all.

Her small, moral compass was telling her to go and apologize, like the good girl her Papa raised. It was telling her she did something wrong. Telling her she was doing something "Daddy" would do...

But for some reason...she couldn't. She was angry, not at Nagisa, she was just angry. She wants to calm down but can't. She wants to feel something else but can't.
