"Date the people that can be weird with you and cause your heart to flutter all the time."

Walking down the streets with their fingers intertwined were Hyojoo and V. They were both smiling brightly with their eyes unable to leave each other's. Hyojoo felt like this was a dream, not reality while V felt super happy but a bit weird.
Every time V looked at Hyojoo, he felt happy but his heart did not flutter. It felt weird but he thought it might have been because they were already dating. He was confused as to why he was not as nervous when around her like last time but this was the first time he dated someone. Maybe this was part of the process?

"So, where should we go as our first official date?"

Hyojoo asked smiling so hard her cheekbones were practically unable to go down. V just stared at her and smiled.

"How about the bubble tea shop over there?"

V asked, pointing at the bubble tea shop across the street. Hyojoo just forced a smile and nodded. In all honesty, Hyojoo did not really like bubble tea. Since a young age, her parents only fed her healthy food so she was not very accustomed to sweet and unhealthy food. However, for V, she forced herself to like them.
Sipping onto their bubble tea whilst holding hands, both V and Hyojoo just smiled at each other. However, things seemed very painfully awkward. To be honest, V and Hyojoo did not know much about each other. In addition, they had nothing in common except for the fact that they were both rich. This date almost seemed like pure torture.

"So..."

V mumbled, stirring his bubble tea with his straw with his eyes fixed on the cup.  He pursed his lips awkwardly before looking up at Hyojoo. Hyojoo forced a fake smile and looked at him. The awkward silence was killing both of them but neither of them knew how to break it.

Maybe this was part of the process of dating?
