V's father roared, slamming his fist on his table. Blood filled with boiling lava of rage rushed up his face as his eyes widened in anger. V just rolled his eyes with crossed arms. He was about to talk back to his father when he recalled Bom's advice.

"Don't stir up an argument, tell them your side."

With a deep breath, V said,

"Listen, father, I always had the dreams of being an artist or a photographer. I know that you would prefer for me to work in the business industry or inherit your company but as my father, I hope you would allow me to chase the dreams I want to chase."

His father's face slowly relaxed as he appeared surprised by V's calm and unfazed behaviour.

"This does not explain why you broke up with Hyojoo, though,"

His father stated, crossing his arms and leaning back and against his chair, waiting for V's response.

"I was infatuated with Hyojoo. I admit that it was a foolish mistake on my part but I've never fallen in love so, I didn't know how love felt like. Until I met this girl,"

V said, smiling as he envisioned Bom.

"I recently regained my memories and turns out, the same girl I fell in love with was the girl who's mother took me in for 2 years!"

V continued, a smile finally breaking out on his face. His father let out a small smile after seeing how happy his son looked before letting out a sigh.

"Well, 1,000,000,000.00 won isn't a lot for us. I'll contact Hyojoo's father to cease the contract and pay the price but you better earn back that money,"

His father demanded sternly. V let out a sigh of relief and thanked his father profusely. The weight on his shoulders was gone. It seemed like his life was heading for the better. He finally found the love of his life, he remembered his past, his relationship with his father was not as strained as before and he could work in the career he always wanted to. All he could do was smile to show his joy.
