Bom, shocked, could not help but hug him back. They embraced each other tightly as tears flowed down both of their cheeks. Both of their bodies shook as they sobbed together.
"I'm sorry,"
They both kept saying to each other.
"I'm sorry. The doctor told me that you had a car accident and lost your memory but you regained your memories because of this incident,"
Bom said, looking guilty as V just lifted up his hand and wiped Bom's tears away with a smile. He looked into her hazel eyes, his heart fluttering as he asked,
"What accident? What happened to me?"
"One of my potted plants that hung from the ceiling fell down onto your head... The impact somehow caused you to regain your memories. I'm so sorry..."
Bom apologised, tearing up once again as she looked down at her hands before reaching out to touch his head which was bandaged.
"Does it hurt?"
She asked quietly, sniffling as she caressed his bandaged head softly with guilt. V just smiled, the stinging pain slowly getting numb as he saw how adorable Bom was. Then, he felt the same feeling he had when he
imagined Hyojoo as Bom when looking at the cherry blossoms.
He felt his heart beating quickly and loudly. He was worried that if his heart beat so loudly, Bom would be able hear it as well. His face turned red and burning hot as he felt impelled once again to kiss her.
He felt this strong urge to kiss her not only because she looked adorable and beautiful, but because of her confession. Her words echoed in his mind as he stared into her eyes with his heart beating wildly.
When she confessed to him then, secretly, he realised that he liked her back. He did not know how it was possible to like both Bom and Hyojoo but he was not in the right frame of mind to give a damn about the consequences. With his eyes dead fixed on Bom's plump lips, he leaned in and whispered with his deep husky voice ,
"F*ck the contract."
This sent shivers down Bom's spine as V immediately kissed her. This time, he felt alive. He felt as if electric bolts shot through his veins as he kept wanting for more. Shocked, Bom just did whatever her instincts made her do. She kissed him back.
