"Ugh" I groan as I am awakened by the blistering heat of the sun. Wait a minute, why am I outside. A stroke of panic settles in my stomach as I recall what happened the day before.
Not only was I banned from my pack, but I also had to spend the rest of my life as a rogue.
I wiped my dirty cheeks as tears of anger sprung in my eyes. My palms sinked into the ground as I repeatedly slung chunks of dirt, grass, and rocks into the air. Screams that I didn't even know I could make seemed to possess my throat as they ripped through.
I mean it seems like no matter how much good I do ; bad always finds a way to nib me in the butt. First my wolf , then my parents, and now this .
My life just couldn't get any better. Note the sarcasm.
When I was done with my mental rant, I was left breathless and dizzy. My hands and nails were beyond filthy , along with the rest of my body, and I was in desperate need of some water.
Once again I found myself lying on my back and staring off into space debating my next move. I could either one, stay here and starve to death, or two, get up and try to fix the mess that is now my life.
Although the first choice sounded appealing , I decided on the latter and get up off the ground and started on my way.
As I walk for what feels like hours, the sun beats down on me like a hammer. Sweat drips down my face and the remainder of my clothes stick to me like a second skin. My ex pack members would get a real kick out of seeing me like this ; I think bitterly.
The adrenaline and determination that pumped through my blood at first was now long gone, leaving in its place the hunger and exhaustion from my labor.
Just as I was about to give up, I see a sign ahead of me saying The Trojan Pack. Relief spreads strong and heavy in my heart as I make my way towards the entrance.
As soon as I walk through, I am amazed by the change in scenery. This pack is huge. It's way bigger than my old pack. Where we had pack houses, this pack had mansions that seemed to stretch out for miles. They have various gardens and water fountains scattered around the place and they even have their own pack market. In my old pack we had to travel miles beyond our pack to get to a nearby market.
The rumbling and clenching of my stomach brought me back to the real matters at hand. Taking my chances, I stumbled towards the nearest store in the market.
As I walked I could hear the gossip stirring around me as they took glances at the newcomer. Even though it only happened a day ago, you only had to take one glance at me you could tell I was a rogue. Besides that not a soul knew who I was, my scent was different from any person's in the pack. It's like rouge was plastered across my forehead.
"Hey , look over there" one girl whispered to her friends.
"Yuck, does she takes baths"
"I thought rogues even had more class than that."
"I bet Alpha Conner doesn't know a rogue trespassed pack lines." another said and the rest of them laughed at that, but it only stroke fear in me.
I had no idea this was his pack; if I did I wouldn't have thought for a second about coming here. If you didn't know, Alpha Conner is the most vicious alpha there is.
My mom and dad ,well that's what they were before a few years ago, used to tell me stories of him. He was told to have invaded many packs and killed them ,even the innocent, for just the fun of it, and he kills rogues without mercy as if it were a hobby.
I ignored my thoughts and the other people's gossip and headed inside the shop. As soon as I stepped a foot in the store , all the heads snapped towards me . I could feel the judgement from their gazes piercing as they beamed into the side of my face.
