AUTHORS POV

"Sir, I have nothing to do with the-!"

"Oh?! Then, please, enlighten me cadet... how, in God's name, did you know where their leader was?"

You winced at the blasphemy spouting from your captain's lips.
It was one of the most painful things for you to hear.

The most painful thing you had heard in the past hour since the Titan was taken out...and since you were put into a cell with the man you caught planning to blow the Wall to smithereens.

...

...

...

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you..."

The Commander stepped forwards.

"I fight giant, man eating beasts whose history of how they came to be is unknown... try me..."

...

...

...

"I guess it started when I went down a series of roads which led me away from the battle. I continued down them...until I came crashing into one of this guy's henchmen. As he ran off, I followed him 'till another person crashed into me... the girl. As you know, I chased that girl back to the battle-"

"-Get to the point where you betrayed us..."

"SIGH...When she kicked me. My mind spun like never before... That's when I received a... command..."

"...Who told you where to find this man?"
...

...

...

"...My God showed me..."

"(L/n), I thought I told you no more fairy tales!"

Then, a voice spoke from behind you... it was the captured man.

"I'd be more trusting to this young lady, Commander...for what she says is true... I saw the works of her...God... right before my very eyes..."

"Quiet, swine! You have no say in anything."

As your captain continued to argue with the prisoner behind you, you sat on your knees, cuffed hands through the bars whilst your head laid on them... and said a prayer.

'God...I look to You. I won't be overwhelmed... Give me vision, to see things like You do. For, You're where my help comes from... Give me Wisdom... For, You know just what to do.'

When you raised your head, you felt a great feeling of peace upon your shoulders as well as a great coincidence... like you could see clearly...and you knew just what to do.

You sighed gently, knowing your God was there... and looked at your raging captain.

"Captain..." you called to him gently.

He huffed and puffed to calm down.

You stood, reached out and placed your hand on his shoulder.

"Captain, Captain..."

"What?!" He asked with aggression.

"Please understand...I cannot deny my Lord before man, I cannot say I did not see what I saw, for it would be a lie. For my Father says: 'Whoever denies Me before man, I shall deny before My Father in Heaven'. I understand that this means nothing to you, for you do not believe in our Great God; and it is even more difficult to believe when He has not been seen, for He is spirit. But I tell you this: 'Blessed is He who believes yet does not see.'
Yes Sir, it is true that He told me... He had said: 'Turn around...follow my command of where I tell you to go, until you reach where I want you to be.' Now, because I believed... I followed...and I found the leader about to blow the Wall to bits..."
