AUTHORS POV

The next day had arrived, the day where the people evacuated to the underground district and only a handful of civilians stayed to battle for the reward...unbeknownst of what it really was.

You stared off of the rooftops, hidden with the rest of your brigade.

As they went over the plan, you looked out to the city.

The wooden gate which separated humanity, the few civilians in the middle of the road shivering at the sound of the beast.

The very folks you would be joining on the field.

"Cadet," you felt a hand on your shoulder. "Ready?"

"I am, Sir... but how would I fight the beast if I can't use my blades?"

"You're just down there to spot anything odd on the ground level. Your Goal: Avoid the Titan, look for anything suspicious."

Looking at your Commander, you unbuckled your gear and left it behind, you nodded and climbed off of the roof.

Quickly making your way to the group, your form dressed in regular clothing, as to not draw attention, you stood beside them...all of their eyes too fixated on the Wall to even glance at you.

You could remember the feeling... that horrible feeling of fear.

CLANK!

The chains began to pull the beast up the other side of the Wall.

It wasn't long before the giant was placed on the wall, sleeping.

You watched, in fear, the soldiers take up their poles and get ready to wake the giant and unleash it into the Walls.

"GULP...O-...Our Father who is in Heaven...Hallowed by Your name.
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven...."

You paused and were about to continue the prayer when one of the men joined you.

"Give is this day our daily bread..."

...

...

...

""And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors. Lead us not into temptations, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory""

The beast awoke.

""Forever, and Ever...""

RAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!

""Amen...""

??? POV

"It's time boys. Give me the package...the rest of you... you know what to do."

AUTHORS POV

The battle was, now, in the distance. You had run from the chaos happening there, yet still tried to look out for anything suspicious.

It was just chaos from down the road.

In an instant, you ran across the street to between the buildings... now scouting all the hiding places.

'Lord, please show me what You want me to see.'

You prayed in your head while you kicked down a stuck door to an old house. Nothing was inside.

'Let me see the hidden things, let me see-'

You stopped upon looking down a path leading you far away from the battle... yet you knew God wanted you to go down there.
