I fell asleep last night and woke up to someone holding my hand.

I open my eyes and see someone who looked extremely familiar. Although, I couldn't quite remember his face or anything about him.

I look around and see that I was moved to a new room. This one was more cozy looking and the lights weren't as bright. The bed was a little more comfortable and the blankets were warm.

I try to move my hand but realize that I can't move still.

The guy next to me starts to talk.

"I wish you would just wake up. Everyone misses you."

"What are you talking about? I'm awake." I say.

"You missed prom. I didn't go, I had promised to only take you so I didn't go since you couldn't. Your parents gave up on you. They don't think you'll ever wake up. Hell, the whole school thinks I've lost my mind for just waiting on you."

"I'm awake." I say.

"You had a good life. Things weren't perfect, but at least we had each other." He got teary eyed.

"Stop this. I'm awake." I yell.

"If you can hear me, just know that I always loved you. You were the only girl for me. I got you a gift. For our anniversary." He pulled out a necklace that had his name on it, 'Codell'.

"They're pulling the plug tomorrow. Don't forget me." He said in  a whisper as he kissed my forehead. he put the necklace on me and then left the room.

"Stop!" I scream.

"I'm awake! I'm alive."  But no one came to get me.

I stood up and looked down at my body. I couldn't come back.

I guess they'll meet me in the graveyard tomorrow.
