Amelie's P.O.V

I laid down with my son in my arms and pretended to sleep. The man who brought me here came to check on me every so often and spoke to the others about me.

I just wanted to leave. I didn't want to hurt anyone.

"Get up." I heard him say.

I ignored him and faced the wall.

"Seriously, get the fuck up right now. You have some explaining to do."

I winced slightly at his words.

"Weren't you ever taught how to speak to a woman." I said sitting up.

"Yeah I was. When she isn't a criminal."

"I'm no criminal."

"The fires?"

"What fires?" I ask curious.

"The ones you started where you killed thousands of people. Not to mention, you've got humans outside trying to kill my pack."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"It's worse than we thought." The short one next to him said.

"Stop talking about me like I'm some insane idiot."

"Who's the kid, Amelie?"

"My son."

"No he isn't. Your son died during child birth."

Codell's P.O.V

"No he isn't. Your son died during child birth." Remy said.

"No, he's right there asleep." she replied.

"That isn't him. You're trying to re-live your past."

"Stop it! Just let me go! I'm a good mother, I wouldn't let him die." She said falling to the ground.

I wanted to go and console her.

"Christian is alive. He's sleeping." She whispered.

"No he isn't. You lost him in child birth and then you died. You were reborn." Julien piped in.

"You're crazy. I died long before these new humans were created."

"Why did you start the fires?"

"I didn't."

"Stop lying."

"Codell. Make them stop. Please, I didn't start the fires." She pleaded with tears streaming down her face.

I crouched down and held her hand in mine.

"We have witnesses say you were at every fire."

"But, I didn't set them. I don't even know what you're talking about. How did I get here?"

"Stop trying to play my emotions." I yell at her.

"I'm not." She said looking down. " I don't know what you're talking about. Why would I try to kill you?"

"Why wouldn't you?"

"Because I'm pregnant with your child." Everything stopped. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
