TYLER'S POV

Aiming the pistol ahead, I scan the dark site, no one is guarding this phase. I quickly turn my head and signal Fend. Fend leads the group forward, silently.

Before taking another step, I hear a noise of clicking, which sounded too loud given the surroundings.

Instantly turning around, I am welcomed by a group of four men pointing huge guns at my head. Their attire matches the dark surroundings of this place. God, damn!

"Weapons down, all of you." The man in the middle speaks.

"Uh, we were just-"

"DOWN!" I hear another loud voice behind me. We are surrounded, but how?

I threw my gun at their feet, followed by hearing clashing sound of weapons thrown at the ground as my gaze fixed on the man standing in the middle.

"Actually-"

"Follow me." The man cuts me off rudely.

I look at Fend, quickly pass him a short nod and turn around.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Tyler makes a short nod, unnoticed by the people surrounding them.

The moment they turn around, Tyler yells covering his ears while falling to the ground. The rival men almost panic, giving them enough time to take their guns back.

Tyler screams again and everyone shoots before the rival gang could do something. He uncovers his ears and looks up, satisfied with what he saw.

"Quick, we have to get out now!" He rushes quietly, they move to the gate of Nobel's base.

"This one is mine, make sure every side is covered." He states and everyone disperses.

Tyler immediately takes out something from the bag he's been carrying.

"Kate, make way!" He commands and Kate busies himself digging the corner of the gate while Tyler is busy setting the bomb up.

"Here," He states and places the tiny thing in the corner.

"I can hear footsteps."

"One second," Tyler replies while making sure everything's alright. There's no room for mistakes.

"Go, go, go!" Tyler whispers, and they immediately run to their right side; they spot the rest approaching too.

"QUICK!!" Tyler yells while sprinting, he turns around for a moment to see if everyone made out. They run till they make it far enough from the site.

"On the count of 3,"

"1... 2... and 3!" They hit the button, and the place explodes and burns in the fire.

They share glances at one another for the success of the mission.

"Close that was." Tyler states and everyone heads to leave.

After reaching the infamous mansion, everyone bucks up their waists. Guests have arrived,

"He's back." Or maybe, the boss.

They all move in and inform Harry about the win, who is the right hand of King.

Walking to the bar, everyone argues about each other's preferences of drink.

** Next day **

ROSE'S POV

"Mom, what about these books? I'm sure these can be fixed!"

We barely slept last night, mom and dad had a huge fight. Actually, not a fight, it was my mom scolding my dad. He took $2 Million from Mr Vazquez four years ago for his start-up and later another $1 Million for capital.

He was a freaking multi-millionaire, but for a short time. I remember him talking and planning about opening a clothing line for men and the same gender, but failed because of a lack of leadership and execution. He never spilt a word about taking a loan, he said he saved some money.

All the money was either drowning in celebrating or in consulting.

"No, honey. These are just ripped pages, throw them away." I hear her, she is upset.

But the lies and secrets don't end here, now everything is falling in line. He got a new job soon after encountering failure, and as for his 'business trips', he wasted all that money travelling here and there. And to mention, without us!

He said Mr Vazquez died, so he thought he would be loosened off, but after whatever happened yesterday, it's certain that he is alive and wants his money back.

I can't believe he can be this careless! And $3 Million in six days? How's that even possible?

I can't rest for the tiniest while, this is so disappointing, and it's even more disappointing that none of us can act that we're disappointed in him. We've got $3 Million on our heads right now, and it's crushing us.

If we won't accumulate that much money, he would take me.

Will he, really? He sounded sure as Lucifer.

I immediately dive out of my thoughts and I hear the doorbell ringing. A strange fear roams all over my body with every bone telling me to jump out of the window at the back.

The bell rings again, and my mom walks past me, she fearlessly leaves the living room and I hear the sound of the door opening.

"Heyy!" Tyler?

The fear swiftly melts down, and I almost run to confirm. I look at the door and find him looking at my mom with concern in his eyes.

"Hey," This time, I sense a hint of disquiet in his tone.

"What happened?"

His gaze falls on me, and he rushes to hug me.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Tyler covers Rose in his arms and eyes all around. It bothers him to see what a mess their house is. The house has never been this messy, not around Sara. (Rose's mother)

"What-what happened here?" He asks the moment he leaves Rose.

Rose looks at her mom; might be wondering and asking silently if she could tell him. Her mom slightly nods, letting him know the truth.

"Have something to drink first." She says and both of them head to the kitchen. She tells him everything, skipping the past when her dad was being a brat.

"$3 Million!" Tyler yells the moment this news travels to his ears.

"You got to be kidding me, $3 Million, Rose!" He sounded just as shocked as they were yesterday. It's hard to believe of killing millions in just a span of a few years.

"And he said he will take you?" He yells, not ready to accept it at any sure cost.

"No way, he can't!"

"What name did they mention?"

"Dad said Mr Vazquez, I don't-"

"What?" He asks, his eyes going wide.

"Vazquez, I don't know the first name and maybe nor my dad." She replies.

"Vazquez..." Tyler speaks as if he's familiar with the name.
