THIRD PERSON'S POV
Rose takes a taxi to the Wyvern mansion. She reaches in almost fifteen minutes and makes her way into the mansion. The gatekeeper installs her thumb in the door's thumb recognizer which hardly took five minutes.
She steps in as an employee and walks straight to the kitchen, reaching there she greets everyone before walking to her shelf.
ROSE'S POV
"Morning? It's seven, lady!" He spats while turning to me.
Oh, he sounded like I showed up at seven in the evening.
"Now, to your shelf, King's breakfast is written there." I nod and walk to my shelf.
"If you wanna ask anything, ask Daisy."
"Who is Daisy?"
"It's me, hi." I look behind the manager, a girl sweeping the floor, smiling at me genuinely.
"She is just like you, late to work!" Her smile locks as we hear the manager. No matter wherever I go, people like him will always be around.
I pass a short smile at her and head to my shelf. 'Protein shake with three banana pancakes, no sugar. Make it right!' I roll my eyes at the last sentence.
THIRD PERSON'S POV
Rose made the prescribed breakfast while the manager was interrupting her occasionally.
"Hey, Daisy, could you please tell me the way to the hall?"
"Hall, why?"
"Uh, so I can serve this breakfast,"
"No, no, he- King takes his breakfast in his bedroom."
"Oh, where is his room?"
"It's, actually, I not really sure 'cause I'm new-"
"Take the immediate left, right from the second corridor." The manager cuts her off.
"Now, be quick." He commands Rose. She nods and leaves with the breakfast before passing an assuring smile at Daisy.
At least, I've got someone to connect to here- She thinks to herself. She carefully walks through the exact route and ends up standing in front of a big black, classy-looking gate.
She places a knock on it and waits for a response.
ROSE'S POV
"What?" I hear the familiar deep voice. I'm at the right place.
"Your breakfast, King," I reply, politely.
"Come in." I open the gate and step in. My gaze falls on the black curtains first and then on the man lying on the bed, who is not alone.
King's gaze meets mine, and he politely gestures to me to put the tray on the table attached to the bed. I reflexively looked down and did as he gestured.
I turn around to leave,
"Rose,"
I spin back and look at him.
"Yes?"
"Slide the curtains, I need sunlight in my room." I nod, and my gaze falls on the girl sleeping beside him.
She is blonde and beautiful and is sleeping peacefully. She seems naked, though a blanket is on her.
I walk towards the curtains and have them divorce each other. I meet with the bright sunshine through the wall-sized windows. It's beautiful.
I turn around and find him looking at me,
"Good morning, King." I should have said it earlier. He smiles and speaks,
"Morning." He doesn't stop looking at me, yeah, I should be leaving.
I walk towards the door and the moment I hold the knob, I turn around, remembering something.
"King, uh, about those millions,"
"Oh, yeah, I'll transfer it to your bank account-"
"No, you don't need to." I cut him off again. Rose, stop doing that!
"Sorry, but I don't need them now. It's settled." He looks at me for a long while before asking,
"Are you sure? Don't hesitate if you need them, I don't have a problem-"
"That's so kind of you, but it's settled." Again?!
"Okay, then,"
"Just know that I'll help you, in case,"
"Sure, thank you!" I pass a smile at him before leaving his room and minding my own business.
Following the same way, I walk back to the kitchen. King will have his next meal at 11 o'clock, I should pay a visit to Andy, his surgery is going to happen today.
I talked to him last night, he is doing great, but he misses making pastries.
I can go out while I'm not working, right? And I'll be back in one hour, most probably. Agreeing to myself, I head out of the kitchen and walk through the corridors.
It will take me a long time to get used to the fact that how these men are standing like statues, don't they take a break or something?
I get out of the mansion and take the taxi to the hospital.
I take along some fruits for him, nothing else is allowed there anyway.
** At the hospital **
I open Andy's room and find him reading a book.
"Hey,"
He looks up and his face cheers up.
"Hey!" I place the fruits on the table and embrace him in a warm hug.
"How are you feeling?"
"A little less bored, Christy came in the morning, he gave me this book, and I've been reading it since then." I smile, at least he is not thinking about the surgery. He was freaking out last night, crazily.
I sit on the chair after extending it more towards his bed.
"It's a love story, you may have it after I complete it."
"Okay!"
"So, tell me about your job?" He asks.
Oh, there are so many things that he needs to know!
