The Greatest Earthbender

Y/N's POV:

We sit on the floor on some mats by a table. I still had my blanket around me. The room had sliding doors which led to outside I'm guessing.

There is a furnace and a stove, made of stone. There was also a big counter by the stove.

As I look around, I feel someone staring at me. I glance at Aang and he had his chin rested on his hand. His crystal gray eyes staring right into my soul. Once I make eye contact he quickly looks away.

Why was he looking at me? Do I have something on my face? I touch my face to see if there is something there. There wasn't anything. I also look at my body. Still nothing.

Was he just checking me out?

I shake my head to get that thought out of there. No that's silly! Plus I'm not even that good looking..

I realized the atmosphere was awkward. "Um, so what are we eating?" I ask trying to start a conversation. "Suki, Sokka and Mei went to get food. They should be here soon.." he replied.

All of a sudden I hear someone open the sliding door. I turn my head to see that blind girl. She had black hair, it was tied up in a big bun. She didn't have any shoes on.

"Oh, so she's awake." She states. I was a little shocked, how did she know?!

I had a stupid face on, my mouth was hanging open and my eyes were wide.

Aang just chuckled. "This is Toph, she is an earth bender." He says smiling. I just give him a small nod and turn back to Toph.

"Um, I- I know this is a weird question but I'm, how can you- or I mean, how did you see me?" I asked puzzled.

She smirked a little bit. "I am an earthbender, I can feel everything on the earth with my feet." She lifted one of her feet up in the air. "That is how I can see without seeing." She said with smirk.

"Wow, that's, amazing!" I exclaimed. I felt myself fangirling (I don't think that is a word...) so I calmed myself down. Toph just gave me I smile. "Yeah, I know." She said with a sorta friendly smile.

"Anyways, twinkle toes. When is Sokka, Suki and other girl coming back?" She asked not looking at anyone. (Cause she is blind)

"Twinkle toes?" I looked at Aang giggling. Aang blushed, it looked like he was gonna say something but Toph interrupted. "I came up with that name. The first time me and twinkle toes fought he cheated, by using airbending." She chuckled.

I gave Aang a teasing look. "Huh, the Avatar, cheating." I teased. He was as pink as a shrimp now.  "T-Toph, yeah, well, um- it's a long story. A-Anyways they should be back any second now." He said not as pink as before.

I then see the door swing open. It was Mei.

"Y/N! Your awake!"
