The Last Airbenders

Flying

Y/N's POV:

We were walking all day today, it really sucked. My feet and back hurt so much.

I looked over to Mei, she looked as tired as me.

"I thought you were an Airbender! I thought you could make us fly on your glider!" She groaned.

"Well I've never actually used a glider.. you know, because I lived in a cave?" I give her a glare.

"We'll learn how to! We are going to be walking forever!" She whined.

We walked a little bit more, sunset was near and we had a lot more traveling left.

After a bit of silence, Mei disturbs the silence. "Look, a cave. We can stay there for the night." She points to a smallish cave, it was under a tree, the roots making a ceiling for the cave.

"Sounds good." I replied.

We gathered up some fire wood. We place it in the middle of the cave. Mei used firebending to start the fire place.

She then looks in her bag. "Dang, there isn't any food, we'll have to get some tomorrow." She says in a sad voice.

I giggled. "You can't eat for one night?"

She looked at me like I murdered someone. "No! How can you not eat?" She ask turning my question back to me.

"I've been raised by monks! They don't need to eat for days." I reply crossing my arms with a smirk on my face.

After a bit of talking we finally went to sleep.

We woke up to the sound of growling. It was boar/porcupine. Me and Mei scream as we run out of the cave.

We start running really fast down the trail. Up ahead we see a blind girl and a girl with loopies. "Run!" I scream at them.

They both seem a little surprised but they get of the way for the boat/porcupine. We keep running but there was a cliff. "You have to fly us out of here!" Mei screams at me.

I built up all the courage I could as we jump off the cliff. I open my glider and try to fly. "Cmon, cmon." I mutter to myself.

I saw they ground below us as we get closer. I close my eyes waiting to hit the ground. But we didn't. I opened my eyes, I was.. gliding!

We were under the clouds so the loopie girl couldn't see me.

Toph's POV:

Me and Katara were walking. We separated from the gang because Aang needed berries. He was hungry or something. So we went out here to look for berries.

I then here screams. "Run!" At girl said. Behind the girl was another girl, and a boar/porcupine. I grab hold of Katara and move us out of the way.

Once they past us I go over to help them but before I could the girls jumped off the ledge. I thought I would feel them fall off the cliff. But, I didn't. Were they.. flying?

Katara waterbended the boars hooves to the ground.

Katara came up to me. "Where did those girls go?" She asked looking around. "I-I don't know.." I replied.
