A/n: btw I made a avatar the last Airbender one shot book, so go check that out if you want

Aang's eyes fluttered opened, feeling light headed. Aang tried to move around, but he realized he couldn't move his legs. Aang sat up, whipping the blanket off of him to look at his legs. His legs were covered with casts, Aang couldn't feel his legs.
They were numb.

Aang looked to the side to see a door slightly opening. Aang saw a fire nation servant and bowed to Aang. "You're awake young avatar." The servant stated the obvious. "Yeah... what..?" Aang was about to ask what happened, but the memories came back to him. From when he fell and broke his legs, to blurry moments with you sitting over him, kissing his forehead. Aang blushed but than panicked.

"Where's Y/n? Is she okay? She didn't get hurt did she?" Aang asked frantically. "She is fine. Her and your friends just took bathes and nice long naps. They are all okay." The servant said. "Can you please bring Y/n to me? As long as you're not bothering her?" Aang asked. The servant gave Aang another nod and left the room.

You woke up to see the servant that showed you to your room earlier. "Hello?" You asked. "The young avatar is awake, he is requesting to speak with-"

The servant didn't even need to finish his sentence, you were already up and running, even though you were only in your pajamas. You ran to Aang's resting room, and you slammed the door open, making Aang jump slightly.

"Aang.." you sniffled, tears forming in your eyes as you ran to him, engulfing him in a hug.

"Ah.. careful, I'm kind of in pain." Aang winced, and you pulled back, mumbling an apology. You cupped Aang's hand as you sat next to him on the bed.

"I'm so sorry, it's my fault, it's all my fault. If I weren't traveling with you guys then they wouldn't have attacked."

"Y/n-"

"But I was traveling with you guys and they tried to attack me but ended up hurting you."

"Y/n-"

"And I'm so sorry, I couldn't take it seeing you this hurt, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat-"

"Y/n!" Aang shouted, making you stop.

"I'm sorry for yelling. But it could never ever be your fault." Aang cupped your cheeks. "You saved me, right? That's all that matters right now." Aang smiled reassuringly.

You broke down, tears soaking your cheeks as you hugged Aang again, making sure not to hurt his legs.

Aang sighed happily, it felt so good to be in your arms. You pulled away and wiped your tears away, laughing a bit to brighten up the mood.

Aang could only stare at you, at your beautiful face, your shiny eyes, and don't even get him started on how fresh your lips look.

Aang licked his lips, and he unconsciously pulled your face closer to his. You suddenly realized what was happening, and your laughing died down.

You could only stare at Aang as your faces got closer, and closer..

"Hey! You're awake Aang- woah!"

You both pulled away, turning to see Sokka.

"Oh my god, I did not see this coming." Sokka admitted. "I saw it coming from a mile away." Toph smirked.

Aang and your face turned into blushing messes.

"W-We didn't actually-" you tried to justify yourself, but Sokka cut you off.

"No no, we'll let you kids finish up. See you later Aang." Sokka wiggled his eyebrows before closing the door, leaving the both of you flustered.

It was an awkward silence.
