Found this wip of Aang today, so fricken sad
;( anyways, thank you guys for 113 reads! I know it might not sound like a lot but it does for me, especially since this is my first book. Ok, on to the story!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N's POV:
It was Aang! The avatar!
A pain of guilt suddenly hit me, I didn't come to see him. Would he be angry if I just showed up? No. At least I don't think so, our people are in trouble!
I have to get over being awkward, I need him to help me! No matter what!
While I was giving myself a pep talk, I slipped on a leaf and fell. Since the tree was small I didn't have enough time to react.
I fell flat face right on the dirt. Great. Just great.
I groan at the pain and look up. There was the Avatar and that girl that was at the cave.
I suddenly blush a little, well great. So much for not being awkward. "Y/N?" Aang asked looking concerned and confused. The girl then pointed to me. "That's her! She is the fake Airbender!" She shouted.
What?
A fake Airbender? What does that mean...
I get up dusting the dirt off me. "What are you-?" Before I could ask questions she lounged at me.
I dodge her and moved to the side. "Jae, wait!" He shouted.
So that is her name...
She didn't seem to listen and came at me with rocks in her hands. I dodged again. She rolled over and made the rocks spikes. She had pointy hands now.
She then starts trying to stab me with them.
Is she trying to actually kill me?!
I run into the main big temple. If I run up the stairs fast enough I could loose her.
The stairway was right there, making it twist up into a smaller tower. I run all the way up the stairs. I catch my breath, then I hear boulders crashing behind me, almost hitting me. I jump back out the window.
She was surprisingly faster then I thought.
I look back as she was chasing me, she was making an earth quick like thing with the ground, she was on top of it.
I tried to find Aang to stop her but I didn't see him anywhere. I see a island above the clouds separated from the temple island. I jump off the cliff and glide there.
I needed some time to think. I needed a plan.
As I flew on to it I look back.
Jae made the ground under her launch her into the air. It was surprisingly a big jump. She landed right on the island.
"What do you want?! I need answers!" I shout holding my staff up to her.
She sighs. "Fine. Since I'm gonna kill you, you could know what is going on." She said, I couldn't see her eyes but it felt like she was looking right through my soul.
Aang's POV:
Where the heck did they go?!
I run around the air temple, the silence of rocks moving stopped, so they must have stopped fighting. Hopefully Jae didn't kill her or the other way around.
If I could somehow contact my friends, this would be a lot easier. But if I glide to get them I might miss Jae and Y/N.
Momo then flew onto my shoulder. I got it!
I got a piece of paper out of my satchel and started writing on it.
I give it to Momo. "Here, give this to my friends." I give it to him and he grabs it. He then looks at me in confusion. As he sits on a rock I squat down in front of him.
"Right, I need to say it in your language. Mff mwa mme mwa, mamo mffma mo." I say to him in lemur voice.
I slowly blush at myself realizing I was talking to a lemur and that I thought it would work.
Surprisingly Momo seemed to know what I meant, he then flies off. I continue to look for Jae and Y/N.
Y/N's POV:
I doubt she would kill me, I might not seem it but I am very strong. I just don't want to fight.
I nod, waiting eagerly to find out what she would say.
"You might wanna sit for this." She say, I sit on the floor cross legged. She continues to stand.
She then starts. "The people that attacked your cave, my people, are called Black Mark. We are one of the biggest black market sellers. We do our business underground, in the fire nation, where no earth nation is. We came here because we heard there were signs of flying people." She stopped for a second and looked behind her.
She seemed a little worried but went back and continued. "Do you want to know why we are the biggest sellers In black market?" She asked. Before I could accept or deny she continued. "It is because we sold Airbenders. We sold them for different things. For parts, for circuses, for maids, for slaves and so on." She said and stopped. She looked behind her again, I was in shock.
Why would anyone do such things?! I guess it would be paid for good money but why would anyone be so cruel.
I realized my friends were underground somewhere, in a cell.
The more I thought about it, the more upset I became. I sat up, now standing. I felt my face heat
up with rage. Is that how my parents were killed?!Nidra always said it was a cult or something, this could be them.
It came to me, she made it look like I was the bad guy! And it also wasn't just the fire nation, it was because of them too! The reason airbenders were extinct.
I was raging like a bull now, I felt like punching her right across her dumb face. I gripped my staff, ready to fight.
Jae then turned back to me. She made spikes with rocks on to her hands again. "Okay, time to finish this." She sighed.
