Chapter 26: A Plan

A few days later, another PE has occurred. We were making a plan of finding out Tavork's true nature. F/n is worried if this is going to work. I told her that my friends are doing their best. Besides, who knows if some of my friends who are nobles can help us like this. In the girl's locker room, I can hear female students discussing what happened in the last event. "Don't you think that cripple could ever face against Mr. Kajoio?" F/s 1 (Female Student) asks.

F/s 2: Gee, no wonder how she got mad at him for it. I thought he was nice to us than the boys.

F/s 3: I think I can tell because he never tends to lose against a weakling.

"..." I silently ignore them while I finish changing to my PE uniform. Another volleyball, I hope I don't jump into him again.

"So~, are you going to be facing him again?" F/n looks worried while floating me around. She's wearing a PE uniform that looks quite similar to mine.

"I wish," I sigh. "My hand is still in pain and I still don't want to be facing him again." My hands are still shaking. I'm feeling worried because I couldn't take another hit from his hardened smash shot.

I went out and wait in the gym for him to be present while I thought back to how things are going to work. Based on what Shizure said to me that Tavork was planning on breaking my hand with his fatal volleyball set up to hurt the many. Like that's not going to happen because she and Emily managed to sabotage his plan. So I think he is working with someone.

Come to think of it, while I was heading back to my apartment, I did encounter unknown people in black clothing who are trying to kidnap me. Good thing that I'm still skilled with self-defense. I would have been beaten up too severely if I haven't trained enough. But the question is, who sent them?

Right now, a regular volleyball game should be safer for now. Now I can feel myself being relieved. After each match, I can handle it even with my teammates are trying their best. We are doing a tournament where we are all qualified in the bracket. The losers get to the loser bracket. One more loss and that's the end of them. Like I said, no powers.

Now for the main event...

I sit out for a while since Tavork wants a match with a group of girls. Lucky me. "Why am I even here for?" F/n seems depressed since she was dead and ended up being a ghost who keeps following me.

"That's for sure. No wonder how he plans to bring his buddies here for another volleyball match against his students for the remaining minutes." I reply to her. I thought I wanted to teach him a lesson for abusing his students that way, but not like this. Not even on the girls. I continue watching as a group of girls are struggling to deal with the gang of manly adults. Wield, isn't it, having them like this?

"He's going for a spike!" One of the female students exclaimed. One of the female frontlines tried jumping up to block his spike. We both watch closely as he tried to spike on their side. Since I'm out, I tried predicting what he's going to-.

"...!?" A prediction, this is no spike for a game. He's going to spike the ball, aiming at someone on purpose. I can see the angle of the hand! "...!" I tried speaking out loud, but that's against the rules of society than just a game. He spikes the ball over the block, having the volleyball aiming towards a girl on the back right. It hit on her face, forcing her to faint. Her body collapses back while everyone is in total shock. She's suffering from a critical hit that she can't stand back up with major pain.

"Oh god, Fanda Perileon!" One of the female students exclaimed. We both recognize her name and face from a few days back.

"Wasn't that your stalker that your friend tied her up during your sword training?" F/n asks me. I said to her that it's true and it has to be the one. To think that we haven't noticed her for a minute.
