Chapter 19: Let The Body Drive The Sword (Goblin Content)

Your POV

I read the news, saying that the tournament is coming up in April. I spent my time training over Spring break. Then even though I get injured sometimes, I still can't stop getting stronger. Then I meet the new welcomer that I have to face. Her name is Ao Blane, Class Type: Sword Drive. She's a year older than me, but I never expect that she would be so interested in me. And what's worse that came to me: Goblins. My worst nightmare since I already watched that kind of anime. Ao told me everything, about my life as a cripple, who never gives up, and my secret ability being hidden from anyone. She knows about Shizure and Emily but when?

3rd Person POV

The goblins are engaging in combat against Ao while she unleashes everything with her sword skills. "One girl crashing in? She has her nerve of coming into our-OWIE!" The goblins got caught with her sword skill.

"Wild Whirlwind Drive!" Ao rapidly slashes them in a wide range, splashing each of them away. The goblin archers from the towers fire their arrows at her. She glances her eyes at them. She makes a quick step dodge from the arrows while forming her skill. "Gale Edge: Wind Blade!" She swings her sword, creating a wind blade projectile that is similar to Bobarid's ax.

"What the heck? How did she-Aita!" The goblins from the tower got hit. You got there in time but seeing the mess that is done by Ao. She didn't take serious damage so far.

"Hey, who told you to-?" Enemy reinforcements have arrived. You tried to cover her while she continues her attack with her wild strategy.

"Ao, don't dare try to run away from me like that!" You join up with her as you both progress to the final phase. Five goblins are blocking your path. You went full cover for Ao as she moves forward. Goblin 1 jumps in for a frontal attack with his club. You hold off Goblin 2 and 3 while she takes on against Goblin 1.

Ao deflects his attack with her sword and cuts the side of his body. "Bastard, how dare you...!" Goblin 4 has his cleaver coming towards her. You defeated Goblin 2 but Goblin 3 is still standing with his dagger. He leaps up while performing a dagger assault from above. You step aside and have your eyes on him.

"You won't get away!" Goblin 3 dashes in an arc to his right and makes his dagger charging straight towards your left side of your stomach. You have his arm on sight and have your right hand grab his wrist. "Nani!?" He exclaims. You roll his body down to the ground. Then you punt him away, defeating him.

Ao blocks Goblin 4's slash attack. He has his cleaver rising from his lower left. She parries his cleaver away from the center and makes her way with her sword charging towards him. "Are you kidding me-!?" He has been defeated.

You both pushed on forward while more goblins approaching. Ao spotted a Goblin archer holding his bow with an arrow back, aiming at one of you. She holds her sword back for a heavy slash, but with her sword skill without casting her magic. "Gale Edge: Wind Blade!" Ao slashes out her wind slash projectile from her sword and it's heading towards Goblin 5.

"Impossible! How did she even-!?" Goblin 5 got defeated while you both move on to the main event.

"Come on, they're just idiots! Don't let your guard down." More goblins are approaching you.

Ao: Y/n, your aura?

Y/n: I know. It will recharge over time no matter what I do.

Ao: Yep.

You unleash a devastating attack with your awakening aura while you went wide against them.
