Shizure's POV

What a day to be fully together like this. Just look at me sitting at the seat by the subway with friends since we are going out on an adventure trip because of the five adventure quests in one day. At this point, this is going to take hours until the evening or night.

"Agh!" I grunt. My hand rubbed my head due to my frustration while being annoyed by some self-proclaimed noble who is ranked A not just because of power, but with control and knowledge.

"Shizure, we all know that this is going to happen. Y/n already told us that we need to prepare for the worse." Emily tries to comfort me. But still, I can't stand having to be ordered by some top-tier for nothing. I wasn't a friend with Y/n at first. We are rivals no matter where we stand together. After all, no one likes fighting with some aggression! "Did you get enough sleep before coming here?"

"Does it look like I'm ready?" I sigh while staring with my eyes being tired of her.

"That tells me no..." Emily comments as she seems too nervous to talk back to me in this state.

"And first of all..." I look towards Ao resting her head over Y/n by his lap. "How can you guys be relaxed since you prepared for the worst?" I have my eyes glaring at Y/n with just being jealous because of freedom luxury.

"Zzz..." Ao is taking a nap with a bubble from her nose. Just how relaxed can she be?

"I just have to study my gut. And also, trying to know what that dungeon, Waterfall Bastion." Y/n answers my question. What does that mean about having to study his gut when trying to know what the current Waterfall Bastion is? "I've been here before." Does he mean the Waterfall Bastion? "Yeah. I was in the middle of a request to bring the Blue Aqua Pearl that this guy needs since I needed richer money for my apartment. Monsters are ordinary as I would recall. Never used magic because they have no blessing from some god.

"But why is it there? No ordinary dungeon would have such jewelry." Emily comments.

"That would be..." Y/n explains what he meant by mining caves for jewelry. "It's not that easy when being unprepared. But I do feel close to what fighting is for me. Yeah, a sword and other weapons are used to someone like me but just a common folk that can be broken with a cheap cost of usage." He has his gestures out, imagining how cheap tools would break against any monsters. Normally, powerful monsters can break normal objects that easily because of the magic and skills involved.

"Since when are you this good of finding treasure hunting like this?" I question him.

"Ah, that would from my personal experience and knowing my surroundings from the dark," Y/n explains how he managed since he has skills when crafting tools over by the crafting table that he made. "The weapons and armor are too expensive, so I thought that I would try to train my strength."

"..." I'm speechless, not knowing how he can take on monsters that would have easily killed him. How can he still be able to survive such things?

"That's not possible. Normally, we encountered monsters after they noticed our arrival." Emily claims how normal adventurers tend to fight monsters without even passing by. "Have we not mentioned, they have greater sense such as smelling the scent and have the better hearing ability."

"I needed stealth. The dead silence could blend in with the environment. That is prevention where they can't hear my footsteps." Y/n answers her question. Well, hearing is one thing that he needs to prepare against. But now, the smell where some hunting animals like to sniff the prey. "Hardwire, reduce the percentage chance that they will find out my scent."

...

"...Did you play COD before coming here?" I ask with a simple term of how people have adapted gaming abilities as well. To me, I have no idea how that can be possible.
