Chapter 10: The Wave of Nani!?

Previously on The Story of Lunar...

3rd Person POV

You had a promise that you are heading to the adventure guild to meet up with your two friends that you just met, Saria and Phoebe. Of course, you got roasted and trolled by Raven and the others, but you continued with your journey with the request that your team took. During your traveling progress, you indirectly encountered Emily and Shizure who are legally B rank and nobles. The reason is that Emily is worried about how this so-called E rank mission could be a scam if it is about the village got raided by monsters, which the E rank adventurers or students can't fight that hard. They both tend to investigate this mission and it concludes that it was the bandit's work that made the scam. You got surrounded and have no other way out but to fight them while teaming up with Emily and Shizure since they are higher than you and your team. Emily is currently engaging against the bandit who leads his group, Jovad. Shizure and the rest are engaging in combat against a whole bunch of his men. You and your team are with Shizure. She already dealt the first wave of the barrage of their attacks, enemy archers, and arrows shooting you guys, now it's your turn to do the job for her.

Back to the main story...

"Alright, let's get this party started! SQUADS!" The battle between your nation and the bandits has already started.

"Ok, time to turn on the music!" You got your new fighting ability prepared before you head on out.

"Y/n, don't forget about us!" Saria calls on you. "Just say the word and we'll follow your orders. Here's a book for you if you need it." She hands out her battle notebook as you quickly read the instructions from her book. Then you notice the phases that Saria just talks about.

Shifting Strategy Tactics: You as a leader have the right to call out and shift your party member's tactics as the battle goes along. Make sure you use them wisely to get the upper hand.

Act Freely: A balanced or random method that the party member would do in their own free will. However, do not expect that someone can save or assist you at the right time.

Attacker: Your ally focuses on attacking enemies dead straight without covering you. This makes you defenseless and hard for you to dodge or defend against a huge amount of enemies attacking you.

Cover/Defender: Your ally focuses on protecting or backing you up. They can protect you from enemies that are going to attack your unprotected points.

Healer/Supporter: Your ally focuses on supporting/buffing your stats and healing your wounds. Your allies can cover you, but a low or no chance to fight back against enemies. Some allies can cripple or debuff enemy stats, as you take this opportunity to strike against a weakened opponent.

Saving Energy: Saria wrote that down because she is always watching her and Phoebe's status and energy each time that they're using their skills. They only focus on normal attacks while they either mostly cover you or attack the enemy if you stagger the enemy unprotected.

"Ok, then-." You finished reading Saria's battle notebook as you hand it back to her quickly.

"Phoebe should cover us since there are only three of us. Y/n, don't be reckless since this is the first time fighting this kind of battle. I will support you by healing you since I'm already a healer." Saria recommends her strategy. She had her plan all set up for this battle, huh?
