This one is purely recreational. This one also requires some context.
About 3 years ago, before I realized that Spotify was a thing, I would use this Google slide to listen to music. I would listen to the radio for hours every day, and if I heard a song I liked, I would write down a line of it. I would later find the title of the song via searching the line on Google, and upload it to my slide.
Over the 2 years I used it, I must've gathered hundreds, possibly even a thousand different videos of music. I stopped using it around a year ago, and since then, I must've lost/deleted it, a decision I've since come to regret. I have a screenshot of the slide from about a year ago.
My tastes have really shifted since then. It's mostly J-rock now, but I still listen to Selena Gomez. (Remember, this is from a long time ago.) My tastes were also influenced a lot by what I heard on the radio, of which I only had like 2 presets back then (94.7 and 95.1), so it was limited. I digress.
I hate forgetting things, especially forgetting songs. I'm glad I still have the screenshot to go off of, but still, it's not much.
I've started a notebook.
On each line, I write the name of a song. I'm on page 10 (both front and back) now, and I only started a day ago. Later, I will go back and fill in the artist names. This will serve as an archive of sorts. Maybe even a time capsule. That is, if I can still read my own handwriting in a few years.
