Chapter 31 Ouch

okay okay I haven't written in ages but in my defense I don't have many ideas lately !!anyways here you go !!
Chapter 31
The bus is gone. I call my mom but she doesn't answer. I call Ariana but she also doesn't answer, I don't know how we're going to go to school. We decide to walk to Leas house and ask if her mom can take us. On the ride to school we sit in silence, this is a sign that today might not end well. We get to school and were already 30 minuets late. We go to the office and get a tardy slip. This is my first one all year. The year is almost over anyways *phew*. As I walk into gym, I see him. Playing basketball with his friends. I try and walk away to avoid him because I want to ask Alicia face to face. We both glance at each other awkwardly. He gives a small wave but I look away and don't give one back. The whole day seemed to drag on. Class after class after class. Until finally the bell rings. I run to my locker to find Lea and Anna already packed up waiting. How are they even that fast?? Once I'm done we all walk together.

I find Alicia standing with her little group of friends. I approach her with Lea and Anna behind me. "What did you do Alicia." Alicia turns around and gives me an innocent look. "I don't know what you're talking about Kayla," she gives a smirk at the end. "Don't play all innocent and dumb with me, why couldn't you just leave me and Jason alone, go find someone else to toy with!" Her smirk turns even wider, "Why do you care Kayla, are you jealous or something?" "Yes I'm jealous because you made my boyfriend break up with me for you, I don't see why though, you're not all that pretty." Her little group of friends chuckle. Alicia's face turns deep red. "Maybe you should try looking in the mirror sometime, you look like a troll." She snaps back. "Honestly, that would hurt if it didn't come from you." I say back. I know we've already missed the bus and so did she. "Well Jason made a choice anyways, he saw what a disgusting animal you are and decided to choose me instead." Ouch. "I don't believe he had a choice, you probably forced him to be with you, or you threatened him in some odd way." I turn around and leave because I need to get home. I call Ariana to come pick us up. I think I won that argument, I guess.
