Chapter 11 Halloween

It's Halloween.

I haven't really been paying attention to how time flies. I forgot all about Halloween. Anyways, I'm going to be a flapper. I have everything I need, the black knee length dress, my gold jewelry, feather headband, gold shoes, and red lipstick.

I also have some eyeshadow and blush on (thanks to Ariana). My sister is taking her friend, Stephanie, Lea, Anna, and I.

My sister is an 80's girl, Stephanie is a cowgirl, Lea is a witch, and Anna is a hippie.

My mom is going to pass out candy.

We start to walk around the neighborhood and then we go out of the neighborhood, and walk to a different one. My bag is almost full. Someone taps my shoulder and I bounce back startled. "Hey, sorry I scared you" The familiar voice said.

I suddenly notice It's Jason.

"Yeah" I reply.

Am I like dumb or something, Kayla hello speak!

"So, I was wondering if you could give me your number so we could talk sometime." He said nervously. He's nervous?

I can see Lea and Anna smirking in the backround, they notice I'm acting stupid right now, because I'm just staring at him. Ariana and Stephanie moved on to the next house already so I have to say something quick.

"U-um yeah sure." I stuttered. He can tell I'm nervous. Dang it. I quickly tell him my number and catch up to Ariana.

I also give Anna and Lea a punch in the shoulder, they giggle. I want to strangle them right now ugh.

It's a Saturday afternoon, and I'm in bed on my laptop. I hear a small buzz and it's my phone.

Jason: Hey Kayla, what's up.

He just texted me, does he actually like me or something. Like, seriously I'm actually going to text my crush, but he texted me first.
