Chapter 3: First Crushes?

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock. Why is my alarm clock on, its Saturday! I suddenly remember, today is October 14th! And what does that mean you ask? Its the Apple Fair!

Now I know it may sound like a stupid fair, but it has so many cool rides. It's only open October 14th every year, so I set my alarm clock the night before, at 8:00 exactly and get ready!

As my mother is picking up Lea and Anna, we immediately start our schedule. First, we go on the Rides, The n, eat snacks, Lastly, we watch the festive fireworks at 5:00.

My mom drops us off and said, she will meet us at the snack stand at 2:00. We immediately wait inline for the rides. We see a lot of kids from our school. I see a certain someone in line for the Pumpkin Coaster. Now, I don't usually get any crushes, but this one is too hard to resist. Jason Starford.

Lea notices me staring and grabs me by the wrist and we quickly get in line for the Pumpkin Coaster. Jason is with a group of his friends. They are preferably called the populars. I don't dare to say hi because, knowing my self, I will just say something stupid and embarrassing. Anna walks up to them and says hi. Brave.

"What is she doing?" I whisper to Lea. "Trying to get them to talk to you, why?" Lea responds. "What! You could of told me, you know I'm gonna say something stupid!" "Just try not too!" She responds. "Hey" Jason says. "Uh, hi" I respond. "So are you gonna get on the cart or what?" He asks. I then notice Lea and Anna are waiting for me in the cart.

I feel stupid.
