The day of the talent show. I'm not nervous because I have stage fright. But, because of the fact that I'm literally dancing. This could turn out good but really bad because I suck at dancing, and yes, maybe dancing I front of the whole school is watching.
We've been practicing for literally 2 days straight. I've slept over Leas house for 2 days. She meant business.
We were dancing to the song Uptown Funk, just saying I had absolutely no control over what song we can dance to.
"Next act, Lea, Anna, and Kayla dancing to Uptown Funk."
My heart stopped.
I started off doing pretty good actually. But then of course my luck changed.
As I was twirling around, I tripped over Leas foot and we both fell. I felt like I wanted to cry because I heard the crowd roar with laughter.
To say Lea was sad was an understatement. She looked so upset and disappointed. I was filled with guilt. I apologized over and over again, she kept telling me that it's okay but I knew it wasn't.
With only 2 days of school left, I feel so done with everything. Way too much drama and mistakes happened. I just can't wait until summer. Middle school sucks.
