Chapter 4: Note Passing

It's currently October 21st and I hate middle school. Your probably wondering why, every thing seemed perfect. Until this happened..

It was on Monday. I thought since I talked to Jason at the Apple Fair, maybe I could bump up our relationship from ' Hardly knowing' to ' Acquaintance ' .

I know it may sound stupid, but I must have him. So, after lunch, I came up to his locker and said hey. "Hi" he replied. "Um, I'm Kayla by the way." "I'm Jason." he replied. Like I don't know.

His hair is always perfect. His clothes are always perfect. He's hot and cute at the same time. It's too much for me to handle! "So, do you need anything?'' He asks waking me up from my daydream. My cheeks turn to a light rosy tint. "Uh, no I just wanted to say hey." I say stupidly.

"Okay, well I guess I'll see you in 6th hour." He says walking to his class. Am I literally that dumb. I should of thought this out more. 6th hour, 7th hour and Gym are the only classes we have together. I wish we had more.

This is only the half of it. In sixth hour I start to pass notes to Lea about what I did after lunch.

As I pass the note back to Lea, Miss. Andrews our 6th hour Language Arts teacher catches me, and snatches the note. My face flushes to a pale color when she starts to read it out loud to the class.

" Omg it was so embarrassing when he asked me If I needed anything and my face turned red." The whole class laughed as she reads it out loud. I can catch Jason at the corner of my eye that he's blushing and looking down. I'm so freaking dumb. What was I thinking? Miss. Andrews tells me and Lea to stay after class for a few minuets. The bell rings and the class room is empty.

Miss. Andrews tells us that to never pass notes again or there will be and hour detention.

We head out the class room with our backpacks and run outside. It takes us a while to notice that we have missed the bus. We head to the office and call our moms to pick us up.

This is why I hate middle school ya know?
