Chapter 2: Health Class Lectures

"What happened?" I ask worried. "We found you in the hallway, you fainted." the nurse replies. "Oh" I say. "I was trying to find my locker, but I can't find it" I say.

The assistant principle helps me find my way to my locker, he writes me a pass, then leaves as I organize my stuff in my locker.

"Why weren't you in class for 1st and 2nd hour?" Lea asked.

I fill both Anna and Lea on what happens as we munch on salad and pizza. "Sorry we weren't there, we barley made it to 1st hour!" Anna says. We head to 3rd hour together. Health class. I really never understood why there even is a health class.

We take our seats and or teacher, Mrs. Clove, takes attendance. After that, she immediately gives us a lecture on how we must take health seriously, and that it's not always about puberty, and if we don't there will be consequences. Way to start my day at Crowl Middle School.

As the day passes, we find ourselves on the bus again.

"That was an interesting first day of middle school." I say. "Yep." Lea replies. Their stop comes and I wave goodbye. When I get home, I lay in my bed thinking, 'I hope tomorrow will be better.
