It had been a day like any other. Catra and Adora were at the Horde's headquarters with all of the other soldiers. Lonnie, Rogelio, and surprisingly Kyle had all finished their training.

They had finished their training long before they had been called in but Hordak had been busy. He was always busy.

Catra at night, would sneak off from the bunks and into his 'sanctum' as he called it.

She had seen him tinkering with something in front of him. A huge piece of metal that he was trying to build something with.

From what she could see, she thought maybe it was just walls to surround the Frightzone.

There was barely any breathing room from when they were kids. For a few months now, they had been inside. Tucked away from the world. From everyone.

The Horde wouldn't allow anyone outside. Hordak said that he didn't need any help from the 'useless soldiers'.

They had all known he was talking about them. They all stuck together now. They couldn't bare to do otherwise. Catra had been stubborn at the idea of staying with everyone at all times.

Adora had taken hours of convincing to get Catra into the idea.

"It's not safe to be alone. Not anymore." Adora had told her. That was what convinced her.

Catra had seen Shadow Weaver plucking soldiers of the floors when she thought no one had been looking.

Maybe an hour later, that same soldier would walk out from where they had been taken and hadn't said a word. When someone would try to talk to them, they would either ignore them or give them this look.

This look of confusion. Like they hadn't seen that person before in their life. Like they had been brainwashed.

Catra knew that if any of them got seperated from the others, then they would be met with the same fate.

In Brightmoon, conditions weren't any better. Bow and Glimmer hid in the castle with the Queen. For all they knew, war had ceased for the last few months and there may be peace again.

But Glimmer thought something might be wrong. She had teleported out of the castle one night and onto the tree tops outside.

She had seen the Frightzone then. She saw the walls surrounding it. No light came from it anymore.

She had teleported back in a panic and found Bow.

"What? What is it?" He had asked her after she woke him up. He opened his eyes to see Glimmer's eyes almost bulging out of her head, her breathing out of control.

"The Frightzone. It's all covered up. Bow, I have a bad feeling. Something's coming from there. Something big. Something that they're protecting themselves from." Glimmer told him.

He didn't say a word and motioned for her to follow him as he made his way to the Queen's chambers to tell her.

The next day, an order had rang out for all of the kingdoms to build walls. Anything for protection against what's to come.

That was the worst part. Not knowing what was coming. No one was sure what they should be doing. Maybe walls wouldn't be of any help. But no one knew what they were preparing for.
