"You're so fucking heavy." [y/n] whisper-shouted as she threw him down, fishing the keys out of his pocket and unlocking the front door. She threw it open, glancing around for his brother or mother who were nowhere to be seen. The silence within the house made her wonder if anyone was even home. "Hello? Akiteru? Hitomi?"

She peered over at Tsukishima who was slumped on the floor in the entry hall before shrugging, walking further into the house to check if anyone was home to help her. When she got close to the living room door, she sighed and internally screamed. 'Akiteru, Dad and I went out to visit your Aunt in Tokyo. Be back tomorrow!'

The note was plastered on the door, hanging by a single piece of tape. The note made [y/n] cry internally, realizing she had to haul his fat ass into the house by herself.

"I made it this far. Only a few more steps." She grunted, rolling up her sleeves and walking over to the blond who dozed off on the floor. She grabbed him by his arms, pulling him upwards. "Stand up. Tsukishima, stand the hell up-"

There was a loud thud followed by a series of groans when Tsukishima's large body fell on her, knocking the wind out of her lungs when she hit the ground. It took an extra ten minutes to get him to his room because of the small grace period she took to regain oxygen in her lungs.

When she had finally reached his room, the girl had thrown him down on the bed, sighing loudly as she fixed her hair. "Jesus fuck. This man is so damn heavy yet so skinny." Removing his shoes and coat, she placed it neatly beside the bed before freezing. Old habits die hard. I should get going quick.

As she turned on her heels to leave, she heard the soft voice call out to her. "[y/n]...?" It was ever so soft, almost as if he was on the verge of crying as he spoke. It tugged at her the metaphorical strings within her, making her slowly turn around to face him. "[y/n]..." He opened his arms, beckoning her over to his side.

She hesitated. Her mind drifted back to Kageyama who was laid up in her bed at home waiting for her, but seeing Tsukishima in front of her like this made her feel a sense of responsibility. She knew it wasn't right but she still took a step towards him, sitting on the edge of his bed. "I'm not here to stay for long. I have to go home soon."

He was practically half asleep, reaching out to grab her hand that rested on the blanket beside her. His long, slender fingers wrapped around hers, holding it so tightly as if she would disappear. "Don't leave me...please....don't leave."

Her eyebrows scrunched together as she clenched her jaw. It was truly unfair how he was saying the exact words she always cried out whenever he'd leave. She didn't want to hear it, especially coming from the same guy who left her in the first place.

"Why? Why should I stay? You left me first." She asked quietly.

His head turned in her direction, eyes drunkenly boring into hers. A prominent frown graced his lips when he saw the sad expression on [y/n]'s face. "I love...you. Please, don't leave me..."

[y/n] shook, her body trembling like a leaf in the wind. The words she had been aching to hear for the past year was finally said but now, she couldn't tell how to react. She wondered why he had said it now, after being away from each other for over three months. She was confused as to why he behaved that way if he loved her. Right, he thinks I lied to him...
