Her plan to help Akemi was set into motion when [y/n] was asked to meet Takamitsu at a cafe after class. Of course, she had already planned everything out so that it would favor Akemi. Though, she worried about Takamitsu's feelings because she had gotten a feeling that he was interested in her but she didn't want to say anything.

"Even if he's interested in me, that's too damn bad. I don't date." She muttered to herself as she entered the cafe, taking a seat at a table in the corner where she usually sat when she came here. Minho, her co-worker, waved at her lazily as he caught her eyes for a second.

The bell above the door rang, signaling Takamitsu's arrival. This made [y/n] sit up straighter, waving at the boy who approached. "Hey, [l/n]."

"Yo." The [h/c] female greeted in return, chuckling lightly when he nearly tripped as he sat down across from her. "What are you gonna get?"

"Anything works. I'll treat." The blue eyed male grinned softly, pulling out his wallet to pay for whatever drinks they'd buy. [y/n] wasn't really in the mood for coffee so she stuck to hot chocolate for today. When they returned to their seats, Takamitsu began to talking about anything.

"So, how are you?"

If he brings up my ex, I'll whack hi-

"I heard you live alone. Must be hard!" The male finished, chuckling softly. "I've been living with my grandparents ever since I was young. Even now, I'm too afraid to leave them." He got quiet for a moment before laughing softly. "It's a bit weird, right? For a twenty-two year old guy to be living with his grandparents."

[y/n] shook her head softly, sipping on her hot cocoa. "I wish I could still live with my parents or grandparents. You're lucky. If it wasn't for Tobio, I would've been living on the streets."

"Ah, Kageyama Tobio, right? That volleyball player?" Takamitsu asked, curious about the male he had heard of a few times. "I heard from some girls in my lecture that you live together but I didn't know it was true. That's pretty cool!"

"You think so?" Her smile brightened. "It's rare that people think it's cool! I don't say it often but I really like being with him. He's always been on my side, even when things got tough. I'm so proud of everything he's done so far and it just makes me so happy to see him doing what he loves."

The moment it got quiet, she instantly began screaming internally. I COMPLETELY WENT OFF TOPIC. THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING! HE'S GONNA SAY IM SOME KIND OF OBSESSED FREAK-

Takamitsu chuckled softly, "That's amazing! He must be a really great guy if you praise him that much! I hope I can meet him one day!"

"Yes, I hope you can, too!" Her words grew softer when she heard the bell chime and a tall figure entered from the other door. The [h/c] orbs widened with shock when she saw Tsukishima Kei enter the cafe and take a seat in the far corner.

Talk to Takamitsu, slowly bring up Akemi-chan then DIP was my master plan. Until some fucking shithead decided to ruin it by showing up where we were. [y/n] thought with a thin smile, glancing at Tsukishima who sat on the other side of the cafe. He didn't seem to notice the two yet since he had entered from the opposite where Takamitsu and her were hidden. Now that he was here, she wasn't sure she could execute this plan properly without getting into an argument with Tsukishima on the way out.

"[l/n]?" Takamitsu asked, leaning forward to meet her eyes that were everywhere except him. She jumped lightly, plastering a smile on her face. "Are you okay?"

"Ah, yes!" She exclaimed softly, speaking quieter than before. "I thought I saw Akemi-chan come in."

The name made him stiffen, eliciting a strange reaction out of [y/n] in return. What was that? She pondered, observing his body language that didn't change all too much.

"Hoshioka Akemi-san, right?" Takamitsu asked, smiling strangely now.

She leaned forward, "Do you know her? What's up?"

"Actually, [l/n], the reason why I wanted to take you on a date today is because-"

"Dude, don't-" Denji's words fell on deaf ears when Tsukishima walked past the table where [y/n] and Takamitsu sat, sitting at the table directly next to theirs. The raven haired male face-palmed, sighing to himself. He bowed to Takamitsu and [y/n] apologetically. "Sorry, this idiot doesn't know how to read the atmosphere."

"No, I do. I just don't care." Tsukishima shot back as he sipped on his coffee, pretending not to see [y/n]'s death glare that pierced through his skin. He laughed, "What is this? Rebound number two?"

"Hah?"

"Tsukishima, dude." Denji scolded exasperatedly, tired of his habit of instigating arguments with [y/n] and [y/n] only. Turning back to the two, he bowed again. "Sorry. Your buddy Minho-san asked us to move table so he could clean those." We were gonna go farther away but he had different ideas.

"It's all right. We were just talking about Tobio and other stuff."

Tsukishima scoffed, "Isn't that kind of low? Talking about another guy while you're with a guy. He must feel pretty shitty. I know that feeling firsthand."

"Oh, do you now?" [y/n] shot back, lips curling upwards into a nasty, twisted smile. "You seem to know a whole lot about feeling like shit for someone who nearly cheated on his girlfriend multiple times."

"Cheated? Me? I never cheated nor did I ever think about it. You were the one who went off and lived with another guy while you already had a boyfriend of almost seven years." He sneered at her, finding her fierce glare to be ineffective. "I don't even know why I ever dated a girl who would rather focus on another man than her actual boyfriend. It was always Tobio this, Tobio that. If you were in love with him, just fucking say that."

"The only reason why Tobio was ever an issue between us is because you're an insecure little shit who doesn't know how to handle his feelings properly. You couldn't handle the fact that he and I were close so you started acting like a fool and nearly cheated multiple times." [y/n] wanted to scream but the setting they were in kept her tone at a normal level. "I love Tobio. He's the only person in my life who has stuck around. I love him but not romantically. You obviously can't differentiate platonic and romantic love because your glasses aren't fucking thick enough."

Sighing softly, she smiled and stood up. "I'm tired and I have shit to clean at home. I'm leaving." With a polite bow, she exited the cafe with Takamitsu in tow.

"Not cool, bro. You need to learn how to stop sometimes." Takamitsu said with a sigh, shutting the door behind him as he chased after [y/n].

Tsukishima sighed, "what the hell does he know?"

"Why did you and [y/n]-chan break up anyway?" Denji asked, sitting across from the blond.

"...It's none of your business."
