The Boy At The Stables~ Chapter 3 ~

I decided not to text Phoebe tonight; I mean it was just a coffee right? Instead I thought about my outfit. Walking to my wardrobe I scanned the different range of clothes. I carefully picked out a burgundy wooly jumper with light denim skinny jeans and brown brogues. That was my outfit sorted!

I lay back down on my bed, attempting to read a magazine, watch some television.. but I couldn't stop thinking about the boy at the stables; JJ Hamblett and how lucky I had been to meet him.

*JJ's POV*-

Walking into my house, I looked up at the clock that hung in front of me; 4pm. Had I been at the stables that long? I could hear the television on in my sisters room upstairs; I decided not to disturb her, instead taking a seat on the sofa in the living room. Pulling off my riding boots, I flung them onto the floor nearby and pulled out my phone. Scrolling through my contacts, Eva's name stood out. I texted her:

'Hey Eva, is 12 ok for tomorrow? I could meet you at your house? JJ x'

I quickly got a reply.

'Yeah 12 is fine! Thank you! Eva x'

I sat back onto the sofa, smiling.

She couldn't remember me, I knew that. How could she, after the accident she had. But maybe soon, she will remember me, and what we had. Maybe it can go back to normal, the way we were. Maybe.

*Eva's POV*-

I turn the tv off and set my alarm for tomorrow's coffee. I lay back on my bed as the darkness from the night sky filled my room, only the moon lighting it slightly. I still could'nt believe I had met JJ Hamblett. Surely I would of seen him before; he lived so close to me? I shook off the thought; pulling the covers tightly over me as the Winter's cold air penetrated my body. As my tired eyes began to close, I could'nt help but think that talking to JJ today was like talking to someone I knew; it was almost as if he was my best friend. But why?
