Closing the pen door behind me, we walked out into the Winter air, the Sun now up in the sky, melting the blanket of frost which covered the field. We began to walk around each horse's pen; I asked him about why he was here.

'Well we get a few days off before doing a week of gigs, my horse has just been moved to these stables so thats why I'm here.' He laughed, blowing warm air into his hands.

'So you'll be here often?' I asked, holding back a smile. He nodded, chuckling.

'Im sorry, I don't even know your name!'

'Eva, Eva Tomlinson!'

'A beautiful name to match a beautiful face' he looked at the floor, smiling. I giggled; JJ had just complimented me. I was shocked.

As I took him on a tour of the stables, including the field, we spoke about where we lived.

'My family live in a quiet area by this Coffee shop, not far from here.'

'Near a large park?' I asked, hoping his answer was a yes; that was where I lived.

'Yes, I think I've seen you there.' He told me, wrapping his jacket around his chest, looking into my eyes

'Oh, I dont think I've seen you there?'

'Maybe you were looking, but you weren't seeing.' This answer took me by surprise. Maybe he was right; I probably had seen him but hadn't thought anything of it as he wasn't famous then. Feeling bad, I looked away, hiding the disappointment in myself.

After that, we made our way back across the field to where JJ's horse waited. We continued our conversation; about our family's, his time on the X Factor, the other 3 boys. Although he was now famous, he was just like any other person; lovely and genuine. The Sun had reached its hottest, which wasnt very hot, before we stopped talking. Looking down at his watch, his eyes widened.

'I have to get back to look after my little sister, but maybe we could meet at the coffee shop near our houses tomorrow?' He had asked to meet me again, I couldnt believe my luck!

'Sure, do you want to walk back now together?' He nodded before I could finish.

I made sure Coral, my horse, was well fed and warm before locking up her pen; as JJ did with his own. Walking across the now waterlogged field towards the Wood's edge, we laughed at eachover's silly jokes; which we told one another all the way home. He was hilarious, making me giggle until we reached his front door.

'Well, this is my stop! Can I have your number to text you the details?' I nodded eagerly. He handed me his phone and I quickly typed my number. I handed his phone back. Smiling, he grabbed onto my hand, squeezing it as he pulled me into his chest. Wrapping his warm arms around me, he whispered 'Thank you for today' in my ear. A warmth shot through my body, butterflys fluttering in my stomach. I pondered over what it was as he pulled away; was it JJ?

'See you tomorrow' he smiled before entering his front door

I ran home; full of pure excitement from the hug and tomorrow's coffee.

Bursting through the door to my house, I ran upstairs to my room, eager to tell my best friend Phoebe about what had happened. It was just all so surreal; meeting JJ from Union J, he said he wanted to meet for coffee, he hugged me! I could'nt believe it. As I pulled out my phone to call her, an unread text flashed across my screen. I quickly unlocked my phone; the text was from an unknown number but I instantly knew who it was.

The text read:

'Hey Eva, is 12 ok for you tomorrow? I can meet you at your house? JJ xxxx'

I quickly texted him back:

Hey, 12 is fine! Thank you! Eva xxxx'

Sending the text message, I pinched myself; I was going for coffee with JJ Hamblett. I scrolled through my contacts, debating whether to tell Phoebe; it was just coffee wasn't it?
