Chapter 3

Karls POV
Todays the day. My suitcase us full, and i'm ready to go. I decided driving would be easier, because we aren't very far from each other.

'See you soon Karl :)'

I smile at Nicks message, I've calmed myself down at this point. I go outside, and get in my car.

Here we go.

Karls POV
A few hours had past, I was finally there. I struggled to get my suitcase out the car. Nick suddenly opened the door, startling me.

I look over at him, "Nick! Hi!" I say waving.
I roll my suitcase into his home, I look around. His house isn't very large, but definitely isn't small. Nick took my suitcase upstairs.

"Your room is upstairs to the left." He says

"Oh, thanks for taking my suitcase!" I smile at him.

"No problem! What do you want to do later? We could watch a movie if you want."

Nicks smile is so sweet, his eyes a hazel brown.
I begin to stare at him, unintentional of course.

"Karl? Earth to Karl!" Nick waves his hand in my face.

"Huh- oh, i'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention." My face is a red color, I can feel it heating up.

"So, do you want to watch a movie or not?

"Sure, you can watch whatever movie you want. I don't mind." I say walking towards the couch to sit down.

"Alright." Nick turns the movie on and sits beside me.

Everything after that was a bit of a blur, I was so tired from the drive here. I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Nicks POV
I look over to the right, and I see that Karls asleep. I smile, I slowly pick him up hoping I don't wake him up. I lay him in the bed in the guest room.

I feel different around Karl, I cant describe it. He makes me happy. I don't know what I feel around him but I know it's something I've never felt before.

I don't know what I would do if something happened to him.

Karls POV
I wake up, I'm not where I fell asleep at.
Did Nick take me here? my cheeks turn a pink shade. Im overreacting, it doesn't mean anything.

I got up, and slowly walked downstairs. It was a cold day, I could feel the cold air coming on from the cracked windows.

Nick isn't awake yet, i'm not surprised I wake up early anyway. I go to the couch, and sit down. I pull out my phone.

I scroll through my contacts, then I see it. I quickly click on the contact, and push call.

"Hello?" Alex says.

"Alex, I arrived at Nicks house last night." I say.

"I know, what about it?" he questions.

"I-I don't know. Now that i'm here I cant ignore him anymore. I try to hide my feelings, but its hard." I say quietly, hoping Nick is still asleep.

"Calm down Karl, everything's fine. He isn't gonna notice." Alex tried to calm me down, but it didn't really work.

"I live my whole life suppressing my feelings. I only tell you things Alex, I haven't even told anyone but you about my sexuality." My voice is shaky, I feel the tears falling down my face.

"Its okay Karl, its only a couple days then you can go back home." he says.

"What if I don't want to go?" I ask.

"Karl it will be okay, just text me whenever you can. Im always here if you need me."

"Thank you Alex, I'm gonna go now." I say.

"Okay, bye Karl!"

"Bye." I hang up the phone.

I let out a sigh, wiping the tears off my face.
