I let out a sigh, looking over to the coffee addict, "Yes, but that was only to get on my good side. Plus he took my to the Court of Owls of all people and tried to lie about it,"
Before anyone could speak farther, Jason stepped up again, clapping his hands together, "Alright then, well..."
"Let's go kick some Assassin *ss"
____1st Person POV____
"Okay, but tell me," Jason started as we walked down the stairs to the old subway station, our best way to get into the sewers, "Doesn't Ra's look a little like Count Dracula?"
"Jason. Just...shut up, please," Dick groaned out from the front of the group. He looked over his shoulder for a split second, giving Jason a glare as we continued to walk. Eventually we dropped down through an open hole in the floor, landing in what looked like an abandoned sewer system. We didn't waste much time as we began to walk again. Our footsteps echoed across the vast sewer that looked to go on for miles on end,
"I've never really seen him, so I wouldn't know," I chimed in from behind Jason a little later than it should have been. He seemed to look over his shoulder as we all took a turn to the left,
"Don't worry, you'll get to see him," he responded back. I nodded to him, my eyes wandering around the darkened smelly hallway. It was actually brighter than what I thought it would be, with lights that hang on the sides of the walls. The place looked rundown and broken as if they don't use it much anymore, with wooden planks here and there to block off holes in the floor,
"I'll see him, but let's hope he doesn't try to kill me right away..."
I looked ahead to see Dick glancing back at me with a worried look, but he quickly turned away when he saw my gaze on him. He tapped his earpiece he had in, his head looking around as well,
"Alfred... Hello?... Alfred," I could hear him through the com, but there was no answer back, so he let his arm drop down, "D*mn. No signal down here,"
"Don't worry, I managed to contact Alfred before we headed in," Tim added in from behind me.
"Yeah, but what did you tell him?" Jason asked rather annoyed at Tim for who knows what,
"I just gave him a warning that we were going in and probably won't be able to contact him," As Tim answered back, it seemed to go silent again with nothing spoken.
We mindlessly walked along the abandoned sewer lines, just following Dick wherever he lead us. It wasn't as long as I thought it would be though as we then turned to the left, an opening clearly showing an abandoned subway system, which was ironic given we just came from an abandoned subway station. Maybe it was connected to it, but I wasn't one to keep making guesses. My luck with my guesses could only go so far, and I didn't want to 'waste' it on guessing a subway system... That'd be kind of dumb.
Squeezing in next to Jason, I looked over the edge of the drop off, seeing there to be three men standing there chatting with one another. They looked to be Joker's goons with their weird impersonation of Joker mask that looked more like just crackhead clowns then anything. But then again...
They didn't look armed, since one stood with his arms crossed while the other two had their hands in their pockets. I couldn't understand much of their conversation as their words and sentences mashed together due to the echo in this opening. As we all stood there perched on the edge, I watched as Jason was the first to jump down, his hands reaching into his pockets. Before we could stop him or react to what he was about to do, he pulled out his two pistols from his side holsters and within a second, shot the guys.
