A small smile tugged at my lips as I turned the corner, only to have it drop in an instant as I saw something I had feared the most about this trip:

  Damian was missing

___1st Person POV____

Staring at his empty spot, I could feel my body become overwhelmed with heat and energy as anger flowed through my entire being. My head dropped down, some of my hair falling in front of my eyes, covering my view. I could hear the foggy background sounds of footsteps and voices, which added more onto my anger. They took my brother.

First they took my father, which I wasn't worried about. Dad could hold his own most times. But now they took Damian as well. Whoever they are took my blood brother right out of my grasp while he was weak. They planned this. They must have, but why??? Who the hell would take them both away from me?

The thoughts ran rapidly through my mind, my eyes stinging with tears as I heard the footsteps near me, the sounds of shouts and yells echoing through my ears. Ignoring everyone of them, I began to drop to my knees, my energy releasing with a scream from me. As I hit the ground, it felt as though everything was released and gone, leaving an empty feeling in me. But that empty feeling wasn't there for much longer as I could feel a deep darkness begin to fill it, leaving a solid cold feeling in my chest. I let out a cry as I covered my mouth, my hand pinning itself against my face with every sob.

As I sat there on the ground, knees touching the cold floor, I heard stumbling steps come my way, along with familiar calls of my name. As I heard them call for me, my tears suddenly froze in place, unable to fall anymore.

Turning my head around, I looked up to see Dick, Jason, and Tim standing there, their uniforms damaged greatly. Dick looked at me with soft pitiful eyes, a frown finding its way onto his features. He bent down to my eye level, his arms opening up for me. Within an instant, I was in them, pushing myself into them as I let out a whale cry,

"I lost him," I said through the sobs, my face pressing itself against his chest as he stood with me, holding me tight,

"We'll get him back..." Dick reassured, and as much as I wanted to believe him, I just couldn't. It almost seemed impossible to find any clues and now we lost another member of our crew. We were slowly decreasing in numbers and it hurt to see it happen,

"Nightwing, we need to get back soon. If Robin disappeared, we could be jeopardizing others while we're here," Tim spoke up, but Dick didn't respond as he continued to keep me in his arms.

I could see out of the corner of my eye Jason standing there with his helmet off but mask on, giving me a sympathetic look. Tim as well stood there, slightly awkwardly, giving me a look of hurt as they all listened to my cries echo throughout the warehouse building we were in. I could sense the sad tension in the room as we all stood there, just embracing one another presence.

Just as we stood there, Jason and Tim whispering among one another, I could hear the intercom come on once more, causing my head to perk up in interest and anger. I pushed myself gently away from Dick as I looked up to where the voice was coming from,
