*previously*Now I can finally feel calmer, and actually relax without panicking over family, this disease, these voices, everything that worried me. I can actually feel a sense of happiness and joy with being here, like this; surrounded by good people who cared about me. I was with good people who wanted me to do good as well and did truly like me. They weren't here to try and control me, or manipulate me.
And that was peace, calm, tranquility to me.
I finally could relax, knowing I was with the people I loved.
__1st Person POV___
Even waking up the next day, I was happy to see Alfred's cheerful expression as he drew my curtains back before giving me a gentle shake to wake me up. I stirred a bit before sitting up in my comfy, marshmallow-like bed not wanting to leave it right away. I tried to wake myself up a little as I let out a tired yawn nd shook my head. I turned towards Alfred, a small smile forming from my lips as I watched him walk over towards the door, a look of satisfaction set on him,
"Hey Al... What's for breakfast?" I asked out, clearing my voice as the morning phlegm sat in the back of my throat. I coughed a little, but regain myself before Alfred spoke back,
"Well, I'll be honest, I have no recollection of what is for breakfast. Master Dick and Master Jason insisted on cooking this morning... Although now that I think about it... Nevermind," I nodded at him as he walked out, flipping my lights on before he left.
Letting out a groan, I swung myself off of the bed, falling and tripping over myself as I did so, which landed me on to the floor. Giving another groan, I stood from my little blanket fall mess, grabbing the stuff I knocked over and tossed back onto the bed. I smiled a little at the feel of the soft fabric, feeling my fingers play with its corner before throwing it back. Shaking my head to myself, I felt my messy hair sprawl out across my shoulders and stick slightly to my face.
With stumbling steps, I made my way to my bathroom and began my little morning routine that helped transform me to not look like a demon troll. After quite a while, not too much, I then made my way downstairs, readying myself for the mess at hand.
Walking to the top of the stairs, I looked down them with a still tired look, my mind not seeming to process what I was doing for a second. It was almost as if my mind got an error message as I just froze in place, not thinking of anything as I just stared down the stairs. It wasn't until I heard my name being called that I snapped out of my little trance, instantly acting on my emotions. Sitting down at the top of the stairs, I began to slip down them, each new step a different bump at me. As I was sliding down the stairs, I heard footsteps coming up from behind,
"... What are you doing??" I heard Damian's voice say which made my head snap to look behind at him, the corners of my mouth falling upward,
"Sliding down the stairs, of course," I answer and he raised an eyebrow,
"That's dumb," he stated and I opened my mouth in shock,
"You're just a coward, little Demon boy," I snapped back, my voice half filled with sarcasm. He took this as a challenge, his arms crossing as he looked down at me with a glare now,
"I will not do such a thing,"
"Chicken," We heard a third voice chime in and soon, we saw Tim rushing towards the stairs, his body slowing slightly before he did a softball-like slide towards the stairs. Just as he did so, his body began to fall down the stairs, a few 'bonk's and 'crack's here and there. He fell beside me, his body dressed with forming bruises before he gave me a weak painful thumbs up,
